SOUTHERN STAR is a modern Key West home nestled in the quiet Meadows neighborhood of Old Town that combines the island way and the sweet life of the South. THE LOCATION...
The Meadows is a residential district of Old Town Key West. This quiet neighborhood with primarily residential homes and noiseless streets is perfect for peaceful evening strolls, but also within walking distance of the commercial area of White Street with restaurants, shops, and Fausto's grocery store. This home is located less than a mile from Duval Street, an easy bike ride or walk any day. Although you won't need a vehicle to get around from this ideal location, there's off-street parking in the driveway.
THE LIVING AREAS & KITCHEN...
SOUTHERN STAR has plenty of space for your group to spread out or come together. The spacious living area has a large flat screen TV, which can be viewed from the plush sectional sofa or from the kitchen/bar area thanks to the open layout of the first floor. On the second floor, you'll find a bonus loft with comfy furniture, perfect for slipping away and getting lost in a good book.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is absolutely stunning, with custom cabinetry and commercial grade appliances including a gas range. You'll find all of the tools and equipment needed to create a gourmet meal from home. The indoor dining area provides seating for four and there's additional seating at the kitchen bar for a casual bite. A powder room is conveniently located in the hall.
THE PORCHES & POOL AREA...
The unique front porch of SOUTHERN STAR is a shady place to people watch, with rockers that make you feel right at home in the South. The back yard is surrounded by a tall fence and lush tropical landscaping, which creates a completely private outdoor setting for your group. Splash around in the private heated pool or take a soak in the jacuzzi. On the side of the house is a real Key West treat: an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a swim or a day at the beach. There is also a propane BBQ grill and two outdoor dining sets for poolside meals.
