The space
Welcome to your secluded log cabin at Mission Canyon. The cabin is set in a peaceful 200 acre canyon along Kirkland Creek. The cabin has a spacious vaulted ceiling living room with two large arched picture windows overlooking the mountain setting and lush green trees along the creek.

The open-concept kitchen area provides the perfect setting for entertaining a large family with everything you need to prepare meals, along with a gas grill located on the spacious back deck off of the living room. Enjoy the starlit nights while listening to the peaceful sounds of the creek. The large front deck of the cabin is a great place to relax and enjoy morning coffee. The fully stocked kitchen has a gas range, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and all the kitchen essentials.

The cabin has two central heat and A/C units, one on each floor, as well as a gas fireplace. There is a large Smart TV in the living room with streaming capability that you can login to your account to access. WiFi is available. There are board games, cards and puzzles.

The master bedroom, located on the first floor off of the living room, has a king bed and the bedroom off of master bath has two twin beds. The master bath has a high ceiling with double sinks, spacious shower and tub and large walk-in closet.

The second floor has three bedrooms with one queen bed, one full bed and two twin beds. Large balcony overlooking the living room with great views from picture windows. The second bath has a large shower, double sinks with private toilet area.

Linens and towels provided for your convenience in each bathroom along with extra towels and sheets in cabinets in hallway of balcony.

Washer and dryer available for your convenience located in laundry room off of kitchen area on first floor with access to 1/2 bath. Cleaning supplies and laundry supplies are available for your use. There is a fire extinguisher and first aid kit located in the laundry room closet.

There is net setup for volleyball and badminton on the grounds with game supplies located in laundry room closet. Enjoy horseshoes and hiking across the creek and in surrounding area. You may see cattle grazing in area, along with other wildlife during your hikes.

The property is maintained by a caretaker. There are three other homes on the property two of which are not occupied. One of the homes is occupied by the caretaker. The caretaker will not disturb your visit in any way unless you are in need of something. You may be greeted by the caretaker's dog, "Bo" and their three cats from time to time.

Please note: The entrance to the property off of the main highway is a dirt road. It is approximately one mile drive on the dirt road to get to the log cabin. Detailed directions will be provided once your booking is confirmed.

Due to the forest environment and fire concerns, we ask that you do not smoke on the property.

Guest access
You have full access to the log cabin and surrounding property. There are two unoccupied homes on the property which will be locked. Enjoy the wide open, peaceful canyon.
