Das Oceanfront DOG FRIENDLY Outer Banks Ferienhaus "A Carolina Conch" befindet sich in 4203 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, an der Mile Post 3 3/4. Die Aufteilung dieses Hauses ist ein traditionelles Strandhaus mit 2 Wohnebenen, einem ebenerdigen Eingang und einem kompletten Badezimmer. Auf der 1. Etage finden Sie ein tolles Zimmer, das aus einem Wohnbereich mit 1 TV, einem Essbereich und einer voll ausgestatteten KĂŒche besteht. Dieser Bereich hat Meerblick aus allen Ecken. Genießen Sie den Blick auf die Brandung und den weiten Ozean, wĂ€hrend Sie auf den LiegestĂŒhlen des Oceanfront Decks sitzen. Dieses schön eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete Haus wird Ihren Urlaub angenehm machen. Ebenfalls auf dieser Etage befindet sich Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 mit 2 Einzelbetten und Schlafzimmer Nr. 2 mit einem Queensize-Bett mit 1 TV. Diese 2 Schlafzimmer teilen sich ein Badezimmer. Auf der obersten Ebene gibt es Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 mit Kingsize-Bett und 1 TV und Schlafzimmer Nr. 4 mit 1 Einzelbett und 1 Queensize-Bett mit 1 TV. Diese 2 Schlafzimmer teilen sich auch ein Vollbad. August Vacation

Perfect place to spend a week with family. The house was clean and cozy, with spectacular ocean views. Beautiful deck overlooking the ocean made for many early morning sunrise photos .. The kitty Hawk Location was perfect for us . My husband and sons enjoyed the close proximity of the Avon pier. I enjoyed many walks with the dog on the beach.. Terry is a great Host and easy to contact if needed. We did not have any issues. We were blessed to have an ocean front property . The week was very windy, and sometimes difficult to walk to the beach, but we had a perfect view so we could relax at the house.

Perfect Holiday Fun

We stayed for the 4th of July week, great location, loved watching dolphins and sunrises from the back deck. Great to watch fireworks on the beach and no traffic when the celebrations ended. Our hostess is top notch...none better on OBX

Convenient beach front home that takes up to 2 dogs

Our family spent a week in early May at this house. The location is very good, right in the heart of Kitty Hawk so close to restaurants, grocery stores & attractions. You cannot access the beach directly from the house, but the access for the surrounding homes (not public) is adjoining the house so it was easy to get to the beach. The house can sleep 9 (we had 5) but a full house might be a bit tight as there is only1 living area. The description I saw described a basketball hoop but there was no hoop when we were there. A minor thing but I did have a basketball loving son who was bummed since he brought his ball. I might have misunderstood from the description but the 3rd bathroom is accessible only from outside on the lowest level and not from inside the house so we ended up not using it. The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking, plenty of dinnerware and glasses. All the appliances worked well. You do need to provide your towels and linens but I rented from a local company which dropped them off on check in day with no issues. I had thought there wouldn't be any soaps or paper products per the description so I brought my own but there were starter amounts of TP, paper towels and soap (hand soaps, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid) but no garbage bags. Overall, it's not a fancy beach house but very functional, clean and on a beautiful beach, providing a fun week for the family, including our furry ones!

Perfect week!!

This is the second time we have stayed and this year was even better than the last! The kitchen was well equipped for our seafood nights and Terry was such a gracious host. The house was exactly as described and steps from the beach! Our family of nine (four generations ranging from 1 to 84 and two dogs) found that the house was spacious enough and well-appointed. 25th Anniversary & Fur Babies Vacation

We enjoyed our stay! The area is perfect with a lot of locals that are supper friendly. The beach was not crowded at all! The house has everything you need. Very clean and it’s an easy close walk to the beach. The deck is very nice. We enjoyed sitting out there with our dogs and eating meals out there!! Made our stay awesome! Counting down the days till next trip may even take 2 next year. The owner is great!! Terry checked in with us just to make sure we were comfortable. Check in & check out very simple! We normally stay at VA beach or Emerald Isle. We will be staying at Kitty Hawk for the future!

A perfect spot

When we showed our girls the “pink house” we had rented for vacation, they were extremely excited. That excitement was well-founded! The house is a perfect beach house, where you can want the sunrise from the deck and listen to the waves crash as you fall asleep. The house is extremely well-stocked with plenty of space. It was an extremely relaxing vacation, and we will certainly return to the “pink house” another summer!

Wide open beach during the 4th!

We had a great time of a family of 5 staying at this property. The home owner was great at responding back at help with questions we had and when our daughter got sick during the stay. We had a wide open beach during the 4th of July it was amazing!! The easy walk down to the beach from the back deck made it easy to walk back and forth with our kiddos who are 10, 8.5 and 20months if they needed to come back to the house for naps for lunch. Thanks again!!

Lovely!!

This bright pink house is a gem! It was nice and clean on arrival. The kitchen is well stocked and the family area was the perfect size for my family. The deck has a gorgeous view of the ocean! The house is on the beach, but now has a dune in front of it because of a Nor’easter that came through in March. There is still access to the beach, but you will have to go up and over it. The beach is beautiful! My dogs had the best time also! There are many restaurants and activities in the area. It’s a great location. Terry is very nice and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend.

Not "right on the beach" and poor communication

My family and I were excited to be right on the beach with our mother for a vacation together. However on arrival we see there is a dune that needs to be climbed up and over before reaching the beach. This was okay for the kids but NOT what we expected when booking the property and not climbable for our mother. The high dunes were not in the pictures when we booked and there was no communication from Terry regarding the change on the property after booking. Terry's response, "When you booked it wasn't like that. The 5 day Nor'Easter happened the week after Mother's day. I can't control mother nature and the dunes are protected and cannot be disturbed." So our mother was stuck in the house for the week watching everyone from the window or deck. It gets pretty hot on the deck in direct sun so pretty much from the window. After Terry's first response there were days before I heard back on trying to resolve our inconvenience but nothing offered by Terry. Then Terry reviewed me in order to cut down the days for me to review our stay. Disappointed.

Pink House in Kitty Hawk

We liked the house very much and the location makes it worth every penny. I am recovering from a broken ankle, so the dune we had to go over to the beach was difficult for me. But when I make the reservation, I had not broken my ankle. The pics with the listing though didn't show the dune as big as it is. It was no problem with my family. I would recommend staying here.

First time to the OBX

We really enjoyed the cute, funky feel of this beach cottage be the sea. Terry has provided everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. It’s worth repeating that as a renter we so appreciate the tidiness of her cottage and her clear, direct messaging. And, You absolutely can’t find more beautiful beaches. The shore birds, pelicans and dolphins were showing off for us every day! Sun rises were particularly stunning and it seemed that every day we experienced fabulous changes in weather patterns. Fun times!

It's all about Location

We visited NC from Vermont, and after a week in the Blue Ridge Mountains we headed for our first visit to the Outer Banks. We could not have been more pleased. Everything in the listing is accurate, the location is perfect, the house is well equipped and comfortable. We rented linen from the recommended supplier and that worked out well. Our pup Annie loved to chase the seagulls on the beach in front of the house and chase the waves on our long walks. Kitty Hawk is very dog friendly and it is awesome that she did not need to be on a leash as we visited right after Labor day. We had friends visit from Carolina Beach for a couple of days and there was plenty of room for all, and plenty of activities in the area to keep us all occupied. There are a couple of excellent Restaurants within walking distance and many more a short drive away. Don't miss breakfast at Art's Place! Phenomenal! The first couple of days the No Swimming signs were out due to rip currents created by an offshore hurricane, but watching the more intense waves was worth not swimming. Just sitting on the deck or beach watching the surfers and kite surfers was one of our favorite pastimes. We definitely plan to return.
