Across the room, an eight-person natural wood dining table backs onto a shiny, integrated smart kitchen, complete with a large dishwasher, oven, slow cooker, blender, and coffee machine.

Floor-to-ceiling windows separate this comfortable, roomy living area from the pool patio like invisible curtains before a paradisiacal stage. Outside, along the center stage stretches a multi-level infinity pool, which paradoxically, also acts as front row seating to what has to be one of the best ocean views on Samui.

From here, look left — beyond the water cascading from the top jacuzzi-esque tier of the pool — and you’ll catch the ‘balcony seats’: plush nest-like loungers and a built-in corner sofa shaded from the sun.
