May we welcome you to Alihi Lani at Poipu. Our beautiful air conditioned condo located in the heart of Kauai's sunny south shore! Alihi Lani. or 'Beautiful Horizon Views', aptly describes the magnificent ocean panorama of Hawaiian sunsets, majestic whales, local fishermen, scuba divers and sailing catamarans visible from your private lanai. All this is just a short walk to white sand beaches, and great snorkeling. Tennis, world class golf, and quality restaurants are all nearby.

This Alihi Lani Condo is among the very best at Poipu Beach, this intimate ocean front unit has unsurpassed panoramic ocean vistas from large covered lanai outside of the beautiful 1150 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 2 bath luxury condo. You will find a professionally landscaped garden, swimming pool and BBQ area awaiting you. High speed internet.

Alihi lani is designed to provide for your complete comfort and convenience, whether your stay is for a few days or a month. This units include sleeping accommodations for up to six people. The kitchens is beautifully equipped. Full size washer and dryer for your convenience. Tropical colors and woods have been used throughout the open design living area. Full size cable televisions DVD, cd players, and high speed internet connection also provided. The interior furnishings compliment the tile and hardwood cabinetry, and three large ceiling fans as well as 3 air handlers assist nature's trade winds in keeping the unit cool year-round. Enjoy the short walk along the coastline to the white sand of Poipu Cove Three. The views from this unit are wonderful. We watched whales everyday and enjoyed every sunset. The road in front gets busy at sunset, otherwise is mainly a running and walking route.Unless they've updated the listing, be aware that they do not have twin beds. It was replaced with a king bed only.Otherwise, the unit was clean and contained all expected items. Plenty of beach toys, boogie boards, coolers, and snorkelling equipment was available.

Loved this condo! It has million dollar views and close to everything. The complex is small and quiet, nice pool, the condo has plenty of space and is well stocked. Definitely don't hesitate in this one!! If we make it back to Kauai, we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay in Poipu

We (family of 4) had a wonderful stay at the Alihi Lani. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Location was great - able to walk to beaches right by/at the Sheraton hotel, which were favorite beaches of ours. Short drove to Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. Seemed centrally located to nearby spots for groceries and other local shops. We even walked to the Beach House restaurant, which was a decent length, but very doable (our kids are 7 and 11). The condo itself was lovely - perhaps a little dated, but it had everything we needed and could have wanted (including all beach gear!), and it was clean and very comfortable. More than enough space for the 4 of us. The outside balcony was so nice for morning coffee and evening relaxation. And the pool was clean and refreshing and easily accessible. Admittedly, I had been a little concerned that we were right on a “main” road, but it was truly not a busy road and we didn’t notice any significant noise or congestion. And once it was dark, it was super calm and quiet. No complaints! Overall, we loved our stay and hope to have an opportunity to visit Popui again!

Breathtaking Views and Thoughtful Comforts

The photos simply don’t do this condo justice. The unit features soaring ceilings, spacious rooms throughout, and a breathtaking view that makes you feel like you’re on a ship at sea. With few neighbors and the constant sound and scent of the ocean filling the space, it often felt more like a luxurious cruise than a typical condo stay. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—we lacked nothing during our stay. The location is absolutely ideal. While there was some initial confusion around the rental dates and check-in time, it was well worth it once we stepped inside. I would gladly recommend this condo to anyone.

Loved this property!

The condo was great! The oceanfront view was amazing and we saw turtles from the balcony every morning! We didn't do much cooking here but the kitchen seemed sufficiently stocked. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There are towels for the pool and beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

we had an amazing stay and really enjoyed this property. The views are nothing less than spectacular and the sounds of the ocean all night provided for the best sleep one could ask for. The kitchen was well appointed and made meal making very easy. It was truly as great place to stay for the week.

All around lovely


Had a great time watching turtles from the lanai each morning. We even saw a pod of dolphins one morning. It’s a leisurely walk (less than a mile) to a couple of shopping centers and beaches. The unit had a good amount of beach gear to use. The beds and the living room furniture were comfortable. Some pads on the outside chairs would be nice but that’s a small thing. Overall, we had a great time.

Rare location, incredible value

There are certainly cheaper accommodations in Kauai, but if you are within this price range and don’t have a huge group, Alihi Lani is a rare find. Uninterrupted views of the ocean and sunset with sea turtles easily visible in the waves. Walking distance to Sheraton Beach, Several Restaurants, and a very short drive to Poipu Beach Park. A small but stellar pool and Lanai. The unit could use some better kitchen and bbq equipment, and the porch furniture is falling apart. But otherwise everything is clean and easy to access.

Alihi Lani #6 - May '23

We had a wonderful time at Alihi Lani. We took advantage of the close proximity to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our time in awe of the view, and could easily spot dolphins and Honu right from the lanai. Unit 6 does not have central A/C but that was not a big deal. Most of the nights the trade winds kept the unit perfectly comfortable, and the one night it was needed the wall A/C units worked great. The property managers were easy to communicate with, and allowed us to feel right at home! We will definitely return next year!

Annual Kauai getaway

We usually stay in the units downstairs, but this year we were able to experience Unit 6 for the first time and it brings such a different experience and views. The unit was well stocked and beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Spectacular

We absolutely loved our stay; the views of the ocean cannot be beat. The condo easily accommodated our group of four adults and two small children. With only six units in the building the pool was never busy. We’d love to come back!
