Our spacious split level condo offers incredible and unobstructed ocean views. The private lanai is the perfect spot for true relaxation, listening to the sounds of the waves crashing against rocky ocean shore, or watching the whale’s breach and play in the waters nearby.

All the rooms have magnificent views of the ocean and are furnished in contemporary design.

We have recently installed a Mitsubishi Mini Split Air Conditioning system. The living room and each bedroom have an independent wall mounted air conditioning unit, allowing for individualized and personnel settings.

The living room has a magnificent view of the ocean and has been newly updated with modern furniture, a 75” flat screen TV, Blue Ray/DVD player and Bluetooth stereo speaker. The condo also provides cable and free high speed internet.

The kitchen is fully equipped and features granite countertops, shaker cabinets, upgraded stainless steel appliances, and is complete with all necessary cooking tools, gadgets, small appliances, and pots and pans for all your cooking needs.

The master bedroom has a full en-suite bath, with a king-sized bed. The guest bedroom also has a full en-suite bath with newly purchased king-sized bed (Listing photo has not been updated yet). The bedrooms are separated to provide plenty of privacy.

We also have our custom roast Kauai coffee in the kitchen to start your day right. Our service includes a host of amenities with free parking, Wi-Fi and washer/dryer in your condo. To ensure an exceptional experience, we provide our guests with hotel grade supplies such as full sets of towels and three rolls of toilet paper at each bathroom, soaps/shampoo/conditioner/lotion, detergents, paper towel, Kleenex, and trash bags to cover the first a couple of days of your stay.

The condo complex offers several amenities and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Enjoy the ocean view pool, Jacuzzi, gas grills in the BBQ pavilion, and tennis courts. If you love to golf, there are multiple courses nearby.

Makahuena at Poipu is located on the southernmost point of Kauai. This unique oceanfront property is situated on a bluff above the rocky shoreline on the Poipu Coast, located between Shipwreck Beach (for experienced swimmers) and Poipu Beach, which is ideal for children and snorkeling. You can reach either beach via a short 5 – 10 minute walk or by car.

Load beach gears on a cart and walk along the beach trail to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and surfing at the popular beaches in Poipu. With Poipu, Brennecke's, and Shipwreck beaches each a short stroll away, guests can take advantage of our beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, and spacious cart.

Enjoy morning walk or jogging on the Poipu Beach Trail towards Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail and admire the breathtaking view over Shipwreck Beach and the beautiful Grand Hyatt Resort. Explore a 3.7 mile scenic trail towards Punahoa Point that offers the chance to see wildlife and the local flora.

Brennecke's Deli and Brennecke's Beach Broiler serve lunch and dinner nearby, and a five-minute drive leads to Poipu Shopping Village and The Shops at Kukuiula, both of which have an assortment of dining and shopping possibilities. Another five-minute drive brings guests to Old Koloa Town, where historic plantation buildings have been carefully renovated to create a charming village with additional restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store.

* Other things to note:
There is currently a construction project in the neighboring community which is affecting our panoramic original view. Our listing photos clearly show that the wide ocean views are available from the lanai towards the ocean located in the south, not towards the east where the construction is going on. Although work only takes place during business hours (M-F, 9AM-4PM) and noise may occur during daytime excursion hours, we do not find that the project takes away from the quality of the experience.

According to our guests, the construction does not obstruct the ocean view from lanai and bedrooms, and there is no significant noise coming into the condo.

Due to this ongoing construction on the neighboring community, we reduced our nightly rate remarkably to let our guests enjoy their stay in our ocean-view condo on an affordable budget.
