Really pretty view from the lanai, even though it did not face the ocean. An easy walk to Poipu Beach Park. Convenient location. Really nice apartment. Good communication with property management. Easy check in. It would have been perfect if there were AC in more than just the bedroom. Overall, fantastic place.

You get what you pay for. Ultimately we wished we would have spent a bit more to have something more comfortable. Besides some outdated features, the hardest part about the stay was the heat. They have a small AC unit in the bedroom but it trips the old breaker in the unit and shuts off. The bedroom faces the west and the sun beats down on the room all day making it extra hot when returning at the end of the night. We had many sweaty nights here. It’s unfortunate because the Poipu area is lovely and we did love being a short 5ish-min walk to the beach. We don’t plan to return to this unit.

Overall, Okay

Upon arrival, the unit was swelteringly hot. I booked the condo hoping the air conditioning unit in the bedroom would be enough, but the week we were there, it just did not cool down. I, personally, like it 68° or cooler when im sleeping and this units bedroom was a constant 76°. The front of the unit was probably 85° and higher most of the time. Upon arrival, every single dish was also dirty. And had food stuck to it I had to hand wash all of these just to get the gunk off.There was no disinfectant spray provided for cleanups. I notified management and they dropped by a container of clorox wipes and apologized for the uncleanliness. Communication with property management was prompt. They even worked with us on a later check out as we were being affected by the Microsoft/cloudcroft outage.Overall, the bed was comfortable, and it fit our needs for the most part, but I probably won't see myself staying here again. This unit would have been perfect if there were air conditioning throughout, and it was cleaned as specified in the listing.

Cozy and Relaxing

We had a relaxing, cozy stay. Bed was very comfortable. Having AC unit in the bedroom was a huge plus. Enjoyed the natural breezes throughout; with screened slider and front door screen open. Remote spot near our favorite places for beach, shopping, dinner, hula pie, and happy hour at Kalapaki Joe's Sports Bar for happy hour. Nice to have access to 3 pools to relax and chill besides the beach. Enjoyed our stay, will try to book this unit again. Happy with the extra ammendies ninja blender for blended margaritas, k cup ice/hot coffee as well as a pot of coffee, nice cooking non stick pans, cookware, among more. Marked 4 on cleanliness as the floors were dirty. We had to wash our feet before getting into bed each night. Otherwise, we felt it was very inviting, island feel, and cozy. Mahalo!

Better than described and worth it.

The description does not really describe all the perks amenities the owner provides. Great walking paths to beach’s and quiet community. While we did not have trade winds we did not need the AC and we prefer not to use AC. With the window open it was all you needed. The deck was great to sit out on even with a little rain. This was a great find for the price. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Favorite place by VRBO

This place had everything we could possibly think of! It really is a home away from home. First off the location could not have been better. I had a medical conference at the Grand Hyatt but they wanted way too much for the rooms plus we like to cook our own meals and have our own space to relax in the evenings. I was able to walk the path to the Hyatt in about 10-15 min. Pretty walk too. The condo sit up a short ways from Brenneke Beach maybe a 5-7 min walk is all. And 10 min from Poipu Beach. It was an excellent location to explore all that Kauai has to offer. The last time we were here was 12 yrs ago and I forgot how much there was to do here. The condo is huge! Almost 1000 sq ft. Huge bedroom with great AC. Large walk in closet with tons of hangers, luggage rack, extra bedding, blow up mattress, laundry basket. It had a washer/dryer - which is a must for us. Great lighting with strategically placed outlets for charging things. TV in bedroom and living room with tons of channels (we don’t have a TV at home). Closet next to entry has 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, regular umbrella, large cooler, small lunch bag type cooler, some beach odds and ends, like toys, water shoes. The kitchen is very well stocked! Toaster, blender, hot water maker, Keurig Coffee maker, regular coffee maker, pots and pans, nice Henkels knives, Tupperware, lots of big bowls! Fridge has built in ice maker!!! This place was perfect. We will stay here again. Pool is 50 ft away!

There was no AC that made it comfortable anyplace but the bedroom. It was just ok for cleanliness. The instruction book in the condo is outdated. We were told NOTHING about the pools or keys to get into pools. Location is less than ideal. We couldn’t see the ocean from our unit. The stairs were being worked on a couple of days and was just a bit inconvenient and the construction noise around the property was annoying!

Honeymoon Getaway

This place is as absolutely perfect for us to spend our time in Kuaui! It was around plenty of good coffee shops and restaurants and had beautiful beaches super close by. We liked that there were beach supplies available for us as well as plenty of towels and linens. Beautiful place, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great location and everything we needed

We like to cook our meals and we’re very pleased with having all the things you need in the kitchen. Also, the condo is very clean, in a quiet area, and the air conditioning in bedroom is very nice. Easy walk to Poipu Beach and the Grand Hyatt beach and trails. Love the lanai too!

Good location. Quiet . 10 min. Walk to Poipu Beach. Clean. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Bed was comfy. TV had plenty of options. Good parking. Washer dryer was nice to have. The unit was exactly as listed. The check in & entry was seamless. The unit was tastefully decorated, yet comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for those who prefer to cook meals. Plenty of bath towels (and shower amenities) and linens. Beach items readily available and well maintained....chairs, umbrella, turkish Beach towels (fabulous choice), toys. etc.... Distance to shopping & Koloa Town is a 5 min. drive with other activities further away, worth the drive. A wonderful place to spend a Kauai vacation

Wonderful property in Poipu!

The website listing accurately reflects this unit. The owner and property manager have made every effort to fulfill guests needs. Unlike some rentals, this unit is equipped with tasteful, quality amenities (appliances, furniture, mattress, linens, dishes, cooking equipment, etc.) They have even included plastic containers, a cooler and beach chairs and towels. You will find many more thoughtful additions the longer you stay here. One small negative is that you do hear road noise, but as other reviews mention, it did not deter our pleasure staying here, and we slept very well every one of our six nights here. We chose to stay here due to its location: close to Waimea Canyon, beaches, and other South Shore sights. It is also a short drive, to the two large outdoor malls where we indulged in several great meals and treats, and shopping. We even attended a free hula event and afternoon market. All in all, a wonderful stay, and highly recommendable. Hats off to the owners for making the extra effort!

Nice place

Spacious 1-bedroom, nicely appointed and clean. Lanai has peaceful landscape view and peekaboo view of a mountain, but some road noise is heard but not seen. Pleasant and lovely four-minute walk to great sunset and body-surfing beaches and park. Central Poipu location. Has good beach chairs, umbrella, and beach blankets for use. Overall a great place.

Nice Setting

Very unhappy with getting into unit. I explain that we would be arriving late in the evening because our flight arrived after midnight. When we got to the unit we could not get in. They gave us a code for the key lock and it did not work. I was given two phone numbers to call and neither phone answered the call. We tried calling for an hour and then ended up giving up and slept in our car for the night. At 5 a.m. we finally got a call from the property manager and he gave us the correct code for the key lock. Needless to say we were not impressed with that. I requested a reduction on our charges for the room however got no response from the company. The place was beautifully decorated and very well suited for a couple. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. And other than the floors the place was quite clean. They asked us not to wear our shoes inside and by the time we were here for 30 minutes both of us had black feet. I called the property manager requesting that they come and rewash the floors. He told me to use the Swiffer Wet mop that was here. The floors were so dirty that Within using it for 5 minutes I couldn't get any more dirt off the floor. I was not impressed that someone didn't come out and actually re wash the floors for us.
