By public transport (MPK), you can reach the Market Square, Wawel Castle, Podgórze, Kazimierz, the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki, the Center of John Paul II "Be Not Afraid," or the Wieliczka Salt Mine Museum in just a few minutes. The nearby "Wielicka" motorway junction provides excellent access to the airport in Balice, Niepołomice (the renovated royal castle from the times of Casimir the Great), or Nowa Huta, where it is worth seeing the Cistercian Abbey in Mogila or the Wanda Mound (the fourth, somewhat forgotten Krakow mound).
