Welcome to Peaceful Waters Retreat, only 1 hour from Austin and 2 hours from Houston.

Tons of nature & amenities: Lake, game room, pool, sauna & gym, fishing, hiking & biking, and more!

This newly renovated ranch house is outfitted to host up to 14 people for an unforgettable stay!

Pet friendly, $100 for up to 2 dogs per visit. Please add your pet before booking.

- Lake with rowboat, SUPS, and lots of fish (catch and release fishing allowed)!
- Above-ground pool with pool toys & floaties (closed Nov-April)
- Large deck w/grill
- Fire pit for S’mores!
- Abundant wildlife: Deer, herons, frogs, wild turkeys, and even otter families!
- Book a tour to see the cute farm animals: Bunnies, goats, chickens, and longhorn cows!
- RV electrical hookup available for extra fee

- 3 bedrooms, 2 with ensuite bathrooms
- 4.5 total bathrooms
- Lots of additional sleeping space: The 4 couches in the house are ALL pull-outs
- Game room featuring air hockey, Pac-Man 10-in-1 arcade game, ping-pong, arcade style basketball, poker table, tons of board games
- Gym featuring dry sauna & steam room, treadmill, weights, TRX, yoga equipment, and more

WILDLIFE:
Our home is on a 53 acre ranch in rural Texas. We share the countryside with an abundance of plants and creatures. Many of them are beautiful, some of them require caution. Any countryside stay like ours requires good sense and some basic wildlife knowledge. If needed, more information is available upon booking.

PRIVACY:
You’ll have the ranch house and its amenities all to your self.

Please note, our property includes a 1/4 acre farm and a Retreat Center. They are a couple hundred yards from your Ranch House, with no line of sight between. Outdoor activities like the lake, hiking, etc. may be shared with other guests staying at the Retreat Center.

OTHER INFORMATION:
- Staff may be onsite performing farm, ranch, and landscaping work around the property and buildings. We will always do our best to respect your privacy.
- Quiet hours: 10PM to 8AM.
- No parties without pre-approval.
- Rental agreement required (you’ll receive a link after booking)
- We treat & maintain buildings to reduce bugs, but this is the countryside – no refunds for pests
- Check in is after 4PM day of arrival, and check out is before 11AM day of departure. We're happy to accommodate early check in or late check out for a fee, if there is calendar availability.

Please remember to communicate these “Ranch Rules” to your guests:
- Hot tub: Cover & buckle after use (or it gets gross)
- Doors & A/C: Keep doors closed when running A/C to avoid breaking it
- Pool: No glass in pool area
- No driving on the grass, it can damage irrigation & septic
- Garbage bags go in bins! (or critters get into them)
- Respect the property: Please treat the place like it’s your own

We were extremely happy with our extended stay at this beautiful home. The property manager was available when needed and even helped to guide us onto the property when we arrived after dark. House is fully equipped with everything that we needed. We appreciated the compostable trash bags and natural dish soap. It was perfect for our large group and all beds were comfortable, which was very nice after working long hours in Round Top each day. The entire ranch was beautiful and relaxing. Watching the sunset over the pond was an amazing way to end the day and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Our kids loved seeing the longhorns and other animals on the property. The workout room with sauna and steam room were the perfect bonus. The only additions we would love for this home is a full length mirror or two in the main house and a couple of end tables near the couches in the living room. We will definitely be booking another stay at the ranch house! Do yourself a favor and book here too.

The house was amazing, the property was well taken care of it had all the accommodations we could ever ask for . The host walked us through the house and showed us how to turn everything on and off, and showed us all the areas and how to properly maintain them and then left us alone for the whole stay. It was truly a great place to take a group from church.

We loved this house!

This house has something for everyone - pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, hiking trails, fishing, game room..... and dark bedrooms perfect for daytime naps! The indoor/outdoor speakers were a nice surprise and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. We already know we plan to come back.

Family Christmas at the ranch!

Our stay at Peaceful Waters Ranch was exactly that, peaceful! We enjoyed every minute. Even with two days of rain, there was plenty to do inside and out. Our adult children took advantage of the workout room and the sauna and steam room and all of us enjoyed the game room. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when needed and to gather around the long kitchen table for meals and games and to cozy up to the fire in the living room with the Christmas tree to play music and open gifts. I must say though that at the absolute highlight for everyone, children and adults alike, was our tour and visit with the animals! Andy was amazing and made it interesting and fun for all and getting to feed them was special as well as holding the bunnies. Our grandson was thrilled to have the goats come visit a second day at the property too. Andy the ranch manager, was always quick to respond to any questions as well as Robert the host. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us! A memory to treasure!

PERFECT Property for a Peaceful Getaway!

So many great things to say about this amazing property! Our girls weekend was perfect! The setting is so serene and peaceful. We spent many hours on the back deck drinking coffee and cocktails just staring at the pond and watching the wildlife. Sitting around the fire pit looking at the stars was also a highlight. The house is impeccably decorated in a modern but welcoming Texas vibe. There are fun touches in every room. The bedding, linens and towels are all high quality. And we really appreciated the entire property being immaculately clean when we arrived. We made good use of all the awesome amenities included.....hot tub, dry and wet saunas, table games, board games, and the fire pit. Be sure to schedule a visit with the friendly goats who make their home on the property! I loved this getaway so much that I booked for another long weekend before I even checked out on the last day!

Incredible Home!

This house was everything it advertised, and more! There are speakers in the living room, patio, game room & work out room that you can connect your playlist to, and enjoy your music. We had trouble starting the fire outside on our first night and Stephanie was such a huge help! She came over and helped us ladies start the fire (we're city gals). She even let us pet the donkey (one of the ladies really wanted to pet it) and brought the goats over to the house so the other ladies could pet them. Such a fun house to sit and play games, catch up and just enjoy the people you're with. This house has SO much room. We had 8 grown women and had plenty of room to sit and visit, and eat. Would highly recommend this property!!

Family Fun

Amazing - entertained three teenagers thoroughly - and we all enjoyed time together - swimming pool ! Hot tub! Fire pit with s’mores! Scavenger hunt for all the flowers, longhorns, donkey, cacti! Steam room! Sauna! Weight room! Canoe and paddle board! Mini basketball! Card games! Darts! Ping pong! We didn’t turn on a TV one single time. Crazy but true. The kitchen was so stocked with essentials. Even got in late but there was bisquick for pancakes in the morning. Towels, swimming pool supplies - super. S’mores supplies. Wow. We had a blast. Thank you!

Peaceful Stay

This property was amazing! So many things to do! We enjoyed the sauna, steam room, hot tub, private lake and overall ambiance of the property. We even got to enjoy the animals of the property and fell in love. The goats, cows, horse and donkey were all so friendly. Stephanie was so accommodating in all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic get away!

This is a fantastic place to get away for a few days and have some fun. From being able to work out in the gym, relax in the steam room, playing in the game room to relaxing on the porches with a drink and a book, even when it was rainy we stayed busy. When the weather cleared out, we hit the lake for fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. The host was so sweet and the goats added to the fun. We had a range of age from 7 to 17 and everyone had something to do. The house is well stocked and plenty of room.

Great Weekend!

Everything was perfect. There’s so much to do that we couldn’t do it all in one weekend. The lake was great for fishing, would of spent all day out there if it wasn’t for the heat.
