Vitor and his sister are lovely people and make you feel very welcome , the villa is fantastic and the pool amazing, very big and refreshing. There is a large Intermarche behind the villa but you wouldnât know and does not spoil the experience at all.I do feel however that the villa information is somewhat misleading with regards to the air conditioning, this is only in the top bedroom and the living room in the villa , the two bedrooms downstairs DO NOT have air conditioning and were ridiculously hot , this is not mentioned in the villa information as I wouldnât have booked a property in July without air conditioning, to add to this all the beds in the property were extremely hard and uncomfortable - this is not just a moan , they really are the most uncomfortable beds we have ever stayed in.We had the villa for 2 weeks and within that time the villa was cleaned once which took a couple of hours so we stayed outside , the reason is takes so long odd it was 1 lady and Vitor , this is a large villa to clean , the beds were changed on this day and the towels also - I feel when 5 of us in the villa the beds and towels should be changed more than once in a 2 week stay , I have stayed in other similar villas where the cleaners are in every few days , new sheets and towel changes provided. The property is splendid but has lots of steps and is definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues.We didnât hire a car but Ubers very easy to get to Carvoeiro
