Location is perfect

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect. You can walk to the most beautiful beach in Lagos in two minutes and you can also walk to town in 10 minutes. The apartment had everything that we needed. The buildings are older and the entire facility could use some updating. The apartment was comfortable and clean with an amazing view from the balcony. A refresh of the bedding and decor would definitely add to the value of this apartment. We would stay again.

A Vacation from our Lisbon Vacation

It was great to be able to walk to the many beautiful beaches from this cliffside apartment. Good restaurants within walking distance as well and a nice large swimming pool on premises. The unit had everything needed for a comfortable stay and a pretty open view of the ocean from the large patio, which is partially shaded from the strong sun and very useable. WiFi connection was reliable. We could not get streaming functioning on the television, but that was not a problem for us. There was also some confusion about availability of gym facilities and where to park our rental car. For our visit, we did not find these to be problematic, just providing information. Overall, a great rental experience.

The apartment was close to the beach and coastal walking trail. We enjoyed the water excursion. The market is down the hill as is all the restaurants. We enjoyed walking through the streets of Lagos and the beach bar just down the beach side hill.

The owner give me 2 addresses of the property, so the taxi took me to the first one and then need to take me to the second one , charging me twice . Call the owner and spend almost 1 hour asking why the interest was not working, u til finally he send someone to help when he realizes, he were right . Our phones got Wifi but not our computers! I need to always ask for anything, like were I leave the keys and so for .

Beautiful apartment, view and location

The balcony was perfect for us, with a stunning view of the ocean, just enough space inside too. Apartments are perfectly located for beaches, pool and the town. Accomodation was well equipped with washing machine, utensils, some basic condiments and toiletries. Only glitch was that the electric kept fusing when the hob was in use.

Amazing location

The property is located in an amazing location. The beach is stunning, and the view from the balcony is great. The town is a nice mix of old Europe, with narrow streets, lots of small retail shops and small, friendly restaurants. The unit was fine, but the stove, dishwasher, and washing machine were very different from the ones in the US. We never did figure out the burners on the stove. The owner did respond quickly to my inquiries about this; but he just said the instructions are in the unit; which didn't help. It would have been nice to have some basic essentials like toilet paper, soap for the washing machine, etc. Overall we are very happy we stayed there. The vacation was wonderful.

Thoroughly enjoyable

We loved staying at this property. It was so convenient to the town, with its churches, sights, restaurants and shops; and also to the gorgeous beach just steps away and the cliff walks with so many amazing views. Parking was easy so we could use our car to visit other towns in the area. The outdoor area was our favorite spot as we spent hours eating and drinking and talking on the open air patio in view of the sea. Our only suggestions is to provide a bit more kitchen items if we wanted to cook. There were limited utensils and drinkware, but this is a small matter for such a wonderful place.

Fabulous view

The view from the apartment was fabulous! There were many good restaurants and a nice grocery store (Spar) within walking distance. Having AC, a washing machine and a dishwasher were great. The beds in the twin room seem best suited for children as the mattresses were very soft. There are a lot of stairs to the beach (and even the pool) so if you have mobility issues, it may be a problem.

Great stay in Lagos

We are 2 senior couples from Calgary, Alberta, Canada that spent 4 nights at this property. We appreciated having two bedrooms and bathrooms and a parking stall. The property is very clean and a great view as advertised. Spent a day on the beach in front, used the pool (2.5 Euros to rent a chair for the day). Walking distance to the old town and had several great meals. Would recommend.

Wonderful location, beautiful beach, comfortable apartment. Only recommendation would be to have beach towels in addition to bath towels available for guests. Loved eating on this porch to watch the sunrise or feel the evening breeze.

Great location!

Located on the bluff just over the most beautiful beach of Lagos! We enjoyed the easy beach access and free parking. We found the kitchen a bit cramped even though the refrigerator was placed in the living area. Very spacious linaui with direct view of the sea ( not the stacks). Elevator is also a plus. On the downside the interior is due an update. Overall the location makes this listing desirable!

Picturesque beaches

My wife and I had a relaxing time enjoying the close proximity to the beaches of Lagos and city square. Three days of lounging on the beach and enjoying the nightlife of the city with good meals, music, drinks and street entertainment. The location is perfect -apartment wasn't the most updated but wifi was great and we had everything we needed. Carlos and Adelaide were very generous and accomodating hosts.

Excellent location!

We had a great time at Carlos's flat, we became so used to the wonderful views from the large balcony facing the ocean during our week-long stay. It's just above the Dona Ana Beach, and is only a five-minute walk to the historic center. We didn't give it five stars because there were a few things that didn't work properly--- the stereo, many of the light fixtures, the cards to the swimming pool(although Carlos did arrange for us to get a confirmation that we could use the pool after a few phone calls)... But the flat is in such a perfect spot, the view of the ocean is a dream, and there is nothing like grilling a fresh fish on the balcony after a long day. So we can forgive some of the small stuff-- I'd definitely stay here again!
