The house was perfect for what we needed it for and cleanliness was top notched. The only reason for such a low rating is living room furniture was very uncomfortable and low to the floor. We could not get comfortable in anyway and ended up not even sitting on it. Would like to rent again if new furniture is put into place.

We were on the hunt for a cozy cottage for a weekend getaway with friends — and this place was absolutely perfect. The sunroom had a large table that was ideal for board games. The living room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, the kind of space where you can just sink in and relax after a day outside. The kitchen was clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed to cook and share meals together.10/10 — we’d absolutely stay here again! The only thing we missed was getting to use the outdoor fireplace and watch the sunset, but that just gives us a reason to come back next time.

We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable at this Lakefront Escape. Host Raymond was awesome and answered messages promptly. Beautiful views- awesome gathering spot with fire pit. Big kitchen and family area to hang out. Big table to eat and play cards and games. Would definitely stay here again. Also has automatic ice maker and filtered water on refrigerator. We needed a blow dryer and the host had it dropped off promptly. Vet much appreciated. Great location! Lifelong memories here! Thank you.

This was such an amazing stay! There were 4 adults and 3 kids in our stay, and every last one of us enjoyed it. The house was very clean and provided above and beyond what most of our vrbo houses have provided. There was a nespresso machine and was so very nice to have! The view from the house of the lake was beautiful. We loved to have coffee around the fire pit while watching the sail boats sail by each morning. The host was very friendly and provided communication about firewood quickly. The area was quiet and there were many lovely farm stands nearby, which we loved shopping at. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Our group had a wonderful weekend stay. The pictures do not do the view justice and the new fire pit was amazing. Check in and out were easy, communication with host was smooth and the kitchen was well equipped with nespresso and drip coffee makers, and all the supplies to cook several meals.

The View is Everything

My husband and I were unable to stay at the VRBO due to a family emergency. My kids and grandkids still came. They were 4 adults, 2 young kids and a dog. The first thing my son in law said to me when he returned was that I really booked a great place. He said the view was amazing and they saw some spectacular sunsets! They were able to check into the home an hour earlier than expected. Check in went without a hitch. They commented that the property was nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to Erie. The fire pit was a big hit! My daughter in law said it was decorated beautifully. Everything was clean and comfortable. She mentioned that it is not geared for kids so she had to be extra vigilant. The owner was very accommodating and clear in his communication. It was a great experience!

Raymond’s house was perfect for our family’s mini vacation. Perfect location with an amazing lake view. A beautiful fire pit that they have setup for their guests. The inside was super clean and a wonderful open concept for the kitchen and living room so I was included in everything even while cooking for the family. They have everything you need to make you feel at home. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely go back.

A Pacific Ocean view on Lake Erie

All I will say is, wow. That view is amazing. The pictures from the listing cannot capture to beauty. It was so relaxing to sit by the fire pit and look out on the water. The sunsets are also incredible. The house itself if clean and very spacious and well appointed with almost everything you need. The community around the home is friendly and welcoming. Make sure to stop off at the local produce stands if you are there in the summer. A perfect retreat that is close to many things to do in the Erie area. Highly recommend.

We loved this lake house. It was roomy, clean, updated, stocked up with essentials. It has a brand new refrigerator for those wondering from past reviews. 2025 Lake Trout trip on Lake Erie

The property is well appointed, well located. Beautiful, stunning views over the lake. Nicely stocked with Nespresso pods, tea, chocolate and thoughtfully provided "starter snack" packs like Cheez-its.The layout and pictures are 100% accurate. The towels may be the softest, most absorbent bath towels on the planet. The issue we ran into before arrival is that the co-host reached out and said the refrigerator is not working and there was a very small dorm size refrigerator provided. No repair person was available during our stay, which was Thursday- Sunday. This same thing is stated in someone else's review in 2024 so it is not a new problem. The refrigerator needs to be replaced if it has malfunctioned in the past.We come to the greater Erie area at least once per year to go fishing. We need to freeze the fish to get it home to greater Philadelphia. We fly into town. There was no place to get dry ice. We proactively went to a neighbor who let us put the fish in his freezer. Tenants need to have a working full size refrigerator and freezer. If Raymond and Ricardo get a new full size fridge and freezer it's a 10, It is a 10 and we would definitely come back every year.

Fishing Trip

The house was in a perfect location for our planned fishing excursions and the view of Lake Erie was great too. We were unhappy about the refrigerator and TV situations. The owners indicated that there was a full size refrigerator and a mini fridge; however, the full sized fridge was not properly working. We struggled with the TV, remotes and accessing show/ movies for a few days. The owners bought and delivered new remotes, ice and cookies etc… but programming new remotes shouldn’t be tenants responsibility. Keeping items in a cooler vs refrigerator was also a major inconvenience.

Awesome house ,views to die for!

So nice not to have to worry about your pet which is our family. The place was very convenient for having an animal.I definitely would recommend this place. There’s no carpet in the place so it’s much better for animals that were there before yours so it can be clean.
