Antiquated home
 floors and stairs creek badly .. kitchen has an ant problem- when we arrived there were 20 bait boxes all along the counters- did not want to cook in the kitchen as we were overwhelmed by all the bug traps .. the house is located above a marina, the dock is not private - people are coming and going outside your windows and the boat club. guesthouse is actually attached to this property.. very strange set up. The description is misleading, there is no central air in the house, it is only located in some areas downstairs - the bedrooms all have very small window units, The 2 small bedrooms upstairs were not comfortable; the beds are not updated and there are springs sticking out. The house has a musty smell to it .. and is overall very dark inside.. not a bright and happy place to take kids
 the only thing positive was the stunning views of the lake
. a lot of money spent to rent a very beat up house.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at the Hall House. We had a beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit. The unit was spacious and our group of 9 were very comfortable. The unit was well stocked and clean. We highly recommend staying at the Hall House!

A nice summer getaway

Very clean, cute/charming house that is somewhat dated and is located inside a marina (not ideal). The floors and doors throughout the house are extremely creaky/noisy, and the outdoor deck is nice and overlooks the lake however, it sits right above the marina boat dock so it can be noisy at times and there's a strong gasoline smell when the boats come in or go out. There is no beach access to the lake from the house but theres a small town beach and park within very close walking distance . There is no availability of water sporting equipment for rent (kayak, canoe etc) which property listing states as an amenity so that was very misleading/ disappointing. Milliondollar beach and dog beach are walkable (about a half mile or so) but we found driving a better option in the heat. Canada street is also very close which has tons of shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

Amazing Stay!

The house is very spacious and perfectly fit our 9 women on our lake getaway! We initially had a problem with one of the toilets, but the property manager was over within 5 minutes to fix it! The deck, grill, and fire pit came in super useful as well! The only thing that would benefit the place more though is extra trash bags so we can clean and change them more frequently.

Family Vacation

Stayed at this property with my family of all ages to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was the perfect location with many spacious areas and plenty of seating to spend time together. We were able to walk into town with a beautiful walk along the water and absolutely loved the location! Would definitely stay here again!!

Negatives: the property was a bit musty, there was some ants over on floor on furniture and deck. the comforter and sheets had a stains on it and were exchange. Overall, it was a charming rustic house with great pictures of Chris Craft boats.

Fabulous time on the Lake

My wife and myself, together with our children ages 36 -41, our son in law and 2 grandchildren 3 and 6 were very comfortable at Halls House. We rented a boat for part of the week and it was so convenient having it only a few steps away. There is a little beach just down the street, it’s convenient to Lake George shopping and restaurants and is lovely inside and out. It was perfect for our family. If you rent a boat, I highly recommend Sandy Bay.

The location was perfect! Beautiful view and only minutes away from Million Dollar Beach and shops. Many restaurants available nearby as well. Cozy and Fun

The house was as described, the view is better than the photos show. The house was cozy and warm, perfect for a weekend with friends. We were able to view the fireworks from the house for the winter carnival. Location is great, close to down town and we even walked to Garrison's a nice little bar and restaurant right down the street. We highly recommend.

Short Ski getaway

Property was clean and lovely. Close to town and places to eat. Beautiful kitchen, common area, and porch we welcoming. Given the winter temps, we weren't able to access the lake amenities but would hope to check out at a later date. Lake George was a great jumping off point for skiing as we went skiing in Vermont and in New York! Would highly recommend to others to try for a long winter weekend.

Couples Weekend

Hello! We stayed at Halls House for our annual couple's weekend. We had never stayed in Lake George before. The property was amazing. The house was one of the most well stocked rentals we've stayed in. We were impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies (pots, pans, dishes, etc) and even small things like soap in the bathroom. The house was very clean and in order. The living room was cozy and comfortable, and we all could sit and relax. Many of us had our morning coffee on the back porch overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 8 adults. The location was perfect! We would definitely stay at Halls House again.

Winter Weekend Away

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The property was immaculate. There was plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. It was unseasonably warm during our visit so we enjoyed a nice walk into Lake George Village from the house. The house had the best location right on the lake. We enjoyed a fire on the deck while watching the fireworks over the lake. The only things I’d improve with this property is putting the door back on for the large bedroom upstairs (it was strangely missing during our stay) and adding a couple pans for cooking. But overall the house was beautiful, clean and had the best location.
