Welcome to the Secluded Family Resort. Step into this beautiful, lakefront home, located on the 2 mile marker at McCoy Cove at the Lake of the Ozarks. The property hosts seven spacious bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms and 2 half baths, great storage and room to spread out. This home features a huge kitchen with lots of seating at the breakfast bar, the kitchen island and the dining room table that seats 8.
There is one master lakeside suite, one regular master suite, another guest room on the main level and four guest rooms on the bottom level with a walk-out basement to the private in-ground heated pool, which is 82 degrees. There is a $15.00 fee per day for each additional 2 degrees. Pool and Spa is open and heated from May 15 -Sept 15. Pool and Spa are closed September 16 to May 14. The pool side features a bar with refrigerator, a grill, picnic table, and lawn chairs. ( Bring your own Pool and Beach Towels)
There is also a laundry room available with a washer and dryer.

The Lake side features a spacious, private sand beach with fire-pit as well as kayaks. No life jackets are provided, so please bring your own.
Or walk if you want some exercise.
The dock has two wells, wave runner spaces, and space for jet skis. The dock has 2 slips, one is 11'x28' and the other is 10' x 20'. The water is 6' to 8ft deep in the slips.
You are welcome to bring your own boat or jet skis, or there are places where you can rent a boat or jet ski nearby.

There is lots of room to run and explore on this 4+ acres as well as for parking for various cars and trailers. The home is ADA Approved with wheelchair accessible to most areas and is made available to families, couples and mature travelers.

The home is close to grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment, shopping areas, attractions, and hospital.

It was a wonderful home. We were gathered for our family's reunion. There were enough beds and heads. More then enough bathrooms. The kitchen/family room was fantastic. The pool was the star of the party. We're close to everything. Even if I went to bed my room was quiet. We walked every morning and when we weren't swimming we played games. Kitchen was wonderful big enough for all to hang out. I highly recommend driving down to the beach. It was perfect I even tried out the kayak for the first time.

The Ozarks have always been a great time for our family and friends. This house was beautiful, very clean, had all of the amenities we needed. There were 21 of us from 2-77 years of age. There was something for everyone. We would definitely rent this house again.

The Perfect Stay

We take a big trip every 2 years with a large group of friends and our kids (10 adults and 10 kids ages 4 to 18) and this was the best experience we’ve had to date!!! This house and this property are amazing!!! This house is labeled “Secluded Family Resort” and that is exactly what is was! Lake of the Ozarks is a highly populated, busy lake
 but this property feels like you’re the only people on it!!! At the end of a quiet cove, swimming and fishing off the dock was done without worries of boat traffic and waves for the kids. The pool and hot tub were clean and great! The house is very large and fit our 20 people with ease and never the feeling of being crowded. The owners were very helpful and truly cared about the property and ensuring guests enjoy their stay. Our group changes destinations every trip
 but we might have to return to this one because it was that enjoyable for everyone!!! If you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable stay at the lake with a large group

Secluded, private and phenomenal

The property was exactly as listed and more. There were 16 of us that came down for Lake of the Ozarks bike fest. All adults ranging from 32 to 62. The host was very accommodating and even let us borrow some of their own personal kitchen needs. The check in and check out process was super simple. Each and every one of us had a phenomenal time. We all highly recommend this host and property and look forward to coming back!

Would stay again-motorcycle thumbs up

We were a group of over 20 adults and felt there was plenty of space. The openness of the main floor allowed us all to share meals together. We spent most of our time by the pool. Outdoor bar/fridge/tv made it very cozy. The dock/fire pit/beach area is a test of resilience when trekking back up the hill, however you can drive down to it easily. We are a motorcycle group so the easy zero gravel access to the house was a plus. Dan and Linda were very gracious upon our arrival-reassuring to just enjoy the home and have a great time. The house was very clean with all things in working order. The host were always available when we had questions. It’s a very safe area if traveling with children.

Amazing property with amazing host!

We started off with meeting one of the host at check in, she gave us a quick rundown on the property. She then wished us a good time and left. Any questions or issues the host were a text away and responded instantly. The property itself is beautiful with its own private dock, beach and yard. it is also teaming with wildlife, you will see redfox, numerous deer, an american bald eagle which nest on the property. it is on 4 acres so you have plenty of privacy. The house is big and open to accommodate a large family, with enough room to escape if you wanted to. It is beautifully constructed by the owner himself, and he did not cut any corners. I cant say enough on the hospitality of Dan and Linda, they were just great. We look forward to returning next year.

Wonderful stay at the Secluded Family Resort

Dan and Linda are amazing hosts! So accommodating and pleasant! They keep this property in tiptop shape. We had a wonderful time! Plenty of sleeping space and large living area that held us for meals and playing games. The pool was a little on the small side with everyone in it...but having the dock a short trip down the lane helped so much! Usually some of the grandkids played in the water off the dock. We took advantage of the kayaks! We will remember this trip for many years!!

This home was just as described. It is perfect for a large family. The beach was perfect for the one year old in our group. It was also a perfect cove for swimming or noodling---Very quiet. We brought our boat and were happy to have a marina with a ramp very close by. We had a great week. The owners are very responsive and friendly.

Wonderful!

Every two years we take our kids and grandkids on a summer vacation. There are 20 of us ranging from 5 years to 68 years with every decade in between. Typically we hit the beaches of Florida but this year we wanted to try something different and we found a gem sitting on the Lake of the Ozarks! Everything about our experience was outstanding. The location, the house, the amenities, the communication and the personal service was wonderful. Before we came they gave us referrals to a boat rental place that was equally outstanding. The homeowners met us at the house ( they live next door) when we arrived and showed us around explaining things and answering questions. The rooms were well laid out with plenty of space for the entire group. The pool was clean, very nice and large enough for a refreshing dip. The hot tub was a nice addition. Their location on the lake was great. Being at the end of a cove with a small beach was ideal for swimming, fishing, boating and kayaking. It was one of the few that can use the word “secluded” in their description!

Family Vacation

My family had an amazing time! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. There was room for everyone! We had 16 people stay and we all slept comfortably and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We’d spend the morning in the pool which was perfect for all ages. Then in the afternoon we’d head down to the lake. The shore was so fun for kids and easy access for everyone. Dan and Linda were quick to respond to everything! They were the best hosts. Truly a dream vacation and we hope to come back someday!

2024 Family Vacation

Our family had the most incredible time at this vacation home. The location is unbeatable – being able to drive to the private beach and dock, which was perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub were pristine and provided endless entertainment and relaxation for everyone. The house itself was spacious with enough room for our large family to spread out comfortably. Awesome family vacation

We loved our stay at the secluded family resort! The layout of the home was perfect for a large family. It was very clean and the owners quickly answered any questions we had! The pool was great for all our toddlers. We didn’t use the beach much as the grandkids were so little. Our grandchildren cried when we had to leave as they had so much fun! Would definitely use it again if we come back to Lake of the Ozarks!
