3 BR Waterfront retreat, great deck, beaches, fireplace & game room

Welcome to peace and quiet! This waterfront lodge has three large queen bedrooms and a full-length deck overlooking the water where birds gather all day long. A tall great room allows your group to gather overlooking the water while enjoying the luxury of thick carpets, a large comfortable couch and a fully stocked kitchen. The bedrooms all have high quality mattresses with down duvets and four pillows per bed. An extensive game room has an arcade game, high quality pool table, a 56” 4K TV, and a large selection of games and puzzles to gather after dark.

The natural beauty of this location is so relaxing - most guests don't want to leave the property. All day long you can watch birds land on the water, the tide comes in and out, the changing clouds reflected on the bay, and the surrounding greenery. It's such a quiet space that you find your shoulders relaxing and you can revel in the beauty of this space. It is the perfect place if you love nature, beaches, or birds.

With three queen rooms, this is a perfect house for three couples, a family gathering, a girls weekend, or a group of friends. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom with tub. Downstairs the master has a full en suite shower bathroom. A separate half bath provides a third bathroom for everyone downstairs.

During the day we love relaxing on the front porch or in the living room by the fire. You may want to use our spotting scope, bird guide and binoculars for identifying birds on the bay such as blue herons, snow geese, ducks, cormorants, Hooded Mergansers, Northern Flickers, Kingfishers, and more flying overhead. If you are ready to get outside, there are five beaches within a 15 minute drive, each with their own personality.

The private beach for those who live on the bay is just a 5-minute drive to other side of the water to a tidal beach on the Puget Sound where you can walk, collect shells, and stack driftwood shelters. On the beach you can collect clam shells, agates, red, yellow & green jasper stones and maybe even a moon snail shell. Watch the tides for a low tide to locate live sand dollars with moving spines and especially good beach finds! In rare instances we've found nudibranchs on the beach. The beach is also the perfect place for watching the sunset. We've provided some camp chairs and a bucket for beach adventures, and a selection of rubber boots to borrow, but we recommend you bring your own rubber boots for exploring.

Once you've explored our beach, there are four other beach parks within a 15 minute drive, each one a bit different. There's even a beach that is only accessible with a 2-mile hike!

After sunset or when the weather isn't cooperating, the perfect place to gather is in the living room. Use the remote to turn on the gas fireplace and play games and puzzles while you watch the birds on the water and the clouds in the sky. The weather changes often, so it may only be an hour until the sun is out again.

Alternatively you may want to join in the game room upstairs. The arcade game with 12 game choices might be just your thing. The high quality pool table with straight sticks provides the perfect setting for a little competition. There is a game table and a stack of our favorite games and puzzles for all ages. If you just want to relax, curl up in front of the 54" TV with a swivel mount and seating for six people. We are streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime along with access to online services such as YouTube.

After dark you can build a fire in the Solo stove (no smoke in your eyes!) outdoors on the waterfront with six Adirondack chairs for lounging and long conversations.

Up for going into town? It's a 15-minute drive to the nearest grocery store, coffee shop, pizza, and two Mexican restaurants.

If you need to be online, we have Starlink satellite internet at the house with 800mbps+ download and 400mbps+ upload. There is a desk, monitor, keyboard and mouse available to use on the upstairs landing with a great view over the water.

Whatever you choose to do, know that we've outfitted this house with you in mind. The kitchen is stocked, the beds are amazing, blackout curtains let you sleep late, and we've even included a birding scope and binoculars for watching and identifying the birds. Enjoy!

The whole house is yours. You have a custom entry code to a digital lock on the front door. This house is 2400 Sq ft, so spread out and relax. Sit on the couch next to the gas fireplace and watch the birds land on the water or squirrels run across the railing.

Note that we do not recommend this location for toddlers due to the waterfront location, tall stairs, metal furniture, and lack of items for young children (such as a high chair.)
