Cabin with a Treehouse/Hot Tub/Barndominium/Arcade - Sleeps up to 33

Our family cabins are perfect for your family getaways, reunions, or retreats. The Cabin with a Treehouse sleeps up to 33, with up to 21 in the main cabin and up to 12 in the barndominium. The barndominium is available at an added cost and is a required add-on for any groups above 15 people (This is not added on automatically. We can help you add this after booking the main cabin). If your group is bigger than 33 people, let us know. Our other cabin, Swiss Style Cabin, is less than a mile away and can sleep another 27 people.

The space
The Cabin with a Treehouse is an imperfect cabin. You'll see when you get here. The floors lean just a bit. Not all the door fully shut along with lots of other little things. We like to call all that character. So if your family is imperfect and has a lot of character, then you will fit right in.

I do have to say though, that our cabin has a very welcoming and cozy feel. It feels like what you would imagine it would feel like at your own family cabin.

The main cabin has 5 bedrooms. The main floor has a large living/family room and kitchen. It also has a laundry room, full bathroom, and a sun room.

On the second floor you have 4 bedrooms with a ton of beds and a full bathroom.

The third floor has a king bed, a full bathroom, and a media room with 4 futons for extra sleeping and a mini foosball table.

The barndominium has 2 bedrooms upstairs. It has a kitchen, bathroom, and living area on the main floor. It also has an arcade game with the best of the 80's and 90's arcade games.

Like many of the cabins that were built in the 80’s in Lakeside, this cabin was built without central heating or cooling. It does have heaters in each of the rooms or space heaters are found in most closets. There are also some fans in the rooms. But really, if it gets hot, just open the windows and let the fresh breeze move its way throughout the cabin to get the full cabin effect with the natural smells of fresh mountain air and the pine trees.

Adding the Barndominium
The main cabin sleeps up to 21 people, however, If your group is above 15 people (not including children under the age of 3) then we require that you select 16 guests to add the barndominium. The barndominium does have an added cost of $175 per night plus a $175 cleaning fee but it gives you access to an extra bathroom, kitchen, sitting area, laundry room, arcade cabinet with over 2000 games, and 2 bedrooms that can sleep 10 more people and it helps you spread out to be more comfortable.

Since there are some limitations to the VRBO settings with automatically adding an extra space, if the $175 extra fee per night and the $175 cleaning fee doesn’t get automatically added through the VRBO app then we will reach out to you to get it added.

Other things to note
We can offer an early check in for an additional fee and a late checkout (1pm) upon request for an additional $100 as long as the cabin is not booked by another group the same day.

**Fire Restrictions. The Lakeside, Pinetop, and Showlow area is in the forest and can be subject to forest fires, therefore, at certain times of the year, if it gets too hot and dry, the cities enact strict fire restrictions. These restrictions which can include no outdoor fires or barbecuing, are to be observed if you are renting out our cabin. ***Please note that during the following holidays, the minimum number of nights in order to book is 4 nights and the whole property including the barndominium needs to be included in the rental: Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Easter, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.***
