Charming and Spacious 3 Bedroom Home in Lancaster

Make yourself at home in this 3-bedroom Lancaster retreat. Nestled in a nice neighborhood, this enchanting house offers a cozy and comfortable stay for guests. The house is equipped with all the essentials, Fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, comfortable living room with decorative fireplace and smart TV. Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed, everyone will have an excellent night's sleep. The 2 bathrooms are stocked with hair dryers, plenty of towels and toiletries, the main bathroom has a deep soaking tub as well as a combo shower. The in-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The washer and dryer with laundry essentials is located in the basement of the home. A game room on the other side of the basement features many board games, corn hole and a pool table for family fun and entertainment. Whether exploring all the city has to offer; The Sherman House Museum, home of Civil War General William Tecumseh, The Georgian Museum, Ohio Glass Museum, The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, local architecture, local restaurants. After exploring Lancaster, take a short drive down route 33 and enjoy all Hocking Hills has to offer. Or simply relaxing indoors, this property is the perfect base for your vacation. We returned home for a family wedding. The house easily slept six people. The refurbished house has hardwood floors and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen is large and has all accessories that are need for a full meal prep. Dining room is large as is the living room. The house retains some throwbacks to its vintage history, but do not compete or interfere with the modern updates. Our grandsons enjoyed the game area in the basement with a pool table, card/game table with games, and dart board. It was too cold for us to be outside, but a porch to block the afternoon summer sun awaits our next visit. The owners allowed us to park our medium size truck and large SUV in the garage with room to spare. The house is off a main street, but far enough to avoid most road noise. There is easy access to fast food as well as a major grocery store. A shopping area with major retailers and restaurants is not far away, but give yourself a few extra minutes to get there. The city’s historic district, anchored by the Sherman House and a town square along with some nice local restaurants, is a few miles away as well as Rising Park and Mt. Pleasant – the crown jewels. In reasonable drives, there is access to Alley Park, Hocking Hills, and other outdoor locations, as well as other small towns with their own charms and local restaurants. The owners communicated quickly and were helpful. It’s a place we will stay again.

Weekend getaway

Good Night Dreams was a beautiful, exceptionally clean rental. I loved the decorations so much that I looked up the curtains to buy!! I felt so comfortable. The game room was the star of the rental, we spent most of our time in the basement playing games, the massage chair was used daily. Very well stocked with luxury items. The beds were very comfortable. The use of the garage was a great bonus with the rain we had. One of the best Vrbos on the market! I will only stay in this rental if/when I'm back in the area! Wonderful home away from home

This home was perfect for a family to spend time in and find everything they needed like being at home. Get place in Lancaster

Absolutely loved this place. Was in town for granddaughters wedding and stayed several extra nights to visit family. Grandkids loved the pool table and house was large and nicely furnished. You would not be disappointed to book this house.

Home away from home

The house was exactly as described. The place was immaculate and all the extra touches made the rental the perfect choice for a family. We especially enjoyed the coffee in the morning on the screened in back porch, a healthy corn hole competition, and the massage chair in the basement. The house has something for everyone. Anniversary weekend

My husband and I are so happy we chose to stay at this property. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated and only about a 30 minute drive to Hocking Hills, Nelsonville and Columbus which were places we wanted to visit. Kathie is pleasant & easy to communicate with. She thought of everything to make her guests’ stay special by including toiletries, bath salts, hair dryer, plenty of quality towels, sheets & pillows, snacks, special treats for our anniversary & every kitchen gadget you could need including a wine aerator & milk frother!!! The only suggestion we have is upgrading to a king bed in the Master bedroom with a firmer mattress but this is definitely a personal preference, not a “must have” to stay here which definitely do again. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Impeccably CLEAN! Great location close to everything. The Ale House was a delicious surprise. Only 30 minutes to Hocking Hills for great hiking and discoveries. Downtown Lancaster has become quaint with future possibilities abound. Very friendly town. Great trip!
