Red Fox Hollow is a vacation getaway to the natural wonders of Clear Creek Metro Park, Hocking Hills and Christmas Rocks. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a fun family trip, to relax with friends, or to reconnect with nature, Red Fox Hollow has it all.

Red Fox Hollow is a beautiful Amish built cabin that backs up to a creek, with an outdoor hot tub and fire pit. It is 10 minutes from Clear Creek Metro Park and Christmas Rocks, and 20 minutes from Cantwell Cliffs and Rockhouse in Hocking Hills.

The cabin is located on 1.39 private acres with a creek, hot tub and fire pit. Due to its remote location, the cabin only has satellite internet so streaming and zoom calls can be difficult. We have a strict no pet policy due to family allergies.

Red Fox Hollow was absolutely amazing!! The area was perfect for our adventures and it’s hard for a Michigan family to admit, but our vacation to Hocking Hills and stay at Red Fox Hollow was agreed upon as a top 5 vacation ever!

Simply amazing place, couple hitches but communication was fantastic everything was able to be resolved. WiFi is very sketchy but is good around 10:30 pm till 9am. Beautiful property and surrounding area. Very quiet evenings couldn’t ask for a better place or host 5 star

Check in was super easy and the owner was very responsive. If you are wanting something with excellent Wi-Fi, then this isn’t the place for you. If you are there for a great visit and to see the area, this is a great spot. Our only issue was the air conditioning. We know it worked because the master bedroom was very cold however, the kitchen, dining area and living room would not cool down. It stayed at a constant 75 degrees so if you like it hot, you will do well. Very clean and excellent setting.

Family Hocking Hills Visit

Wonderful place! So clean, lovingly decorated and so peaceful! Our little guys loved exploring the creek and throwing in a line to see what was biting when we there. It was super hot and humid so we loved having the cool ac to relax after a long day of hiking. Grilled burgers, sat on the lovely porch and enjoyed the country sounds.

House was very clean and neat but incredibly dark and could really use some brighter light bulbs. The kitchen has all the appliances and items you need to cook and eat. Some updated pots and pans would be nice. WiFi and cell service were nonexistent for our stay but it was fine. Hot tub was great.

The property is beautiful and the thoughtfully curated decor throughout the house makes this house so special. The host provided firewood, towels, and little odds and ends like marshmallows, spices, etc. There is a washer and dryer for those unexpected times kids clothes need an extra wash. The host was kind enough to let us check in an hour early. This house was the PERFECT fit for our family with kids under 11. We would definitely stay here again!

Ohio Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Red Fox Hollow. The den was so cozy and we enjoyed games and movies. Ann Marie was quick to respond to questions we had. The cell\internet was spotty but that was communicated beforehand and we had planned for it. The only trouble we had was trying to start the campfire. Located some matches and used our wits and once we got it going enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the peaceful evening. Overall we had an excellent time.

My mom and I stayed here for her birthday and absolutely adored it! The cleanest and all-inclusive rental I’ve stayed in to date. The space was cozy and I really loved the decor, coffee/s’more bar, fire pit area, etc. The jacuzzi was top quality. Not far from the amazing hikes at Hocking Hills State Park. We’ll be staying again in the future. :)

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the RFH. The home was well stocked with necessities and had some special touches. The coffee every morning was my favorite. I kind of enjoyed that the wifi didnt work well as it forced us, especially the teenagers, to spend time as a family. The games provided helped us with this as well. :) My only suggestion would be a better mattress and bed that doesnt make noise with every movement and turn for more restful nights. We weren't able to find the cornhole boards but we loved the hot tub and firepit. Overall we really enjoyed our time here as a family and highly recommend it.
