Overall, our stay was okay, but a number of smaller issues added up and took away from the experience, especially given the price for a short stay. The cabin itself was spacious and comfortable for the two of us, with enough room to relax. We especially enjoyed the fireplace it added a nice touch, and being able to change the flame color made it a fun feature. The location was also a strong point, with convenient access to several nearby hiking trails.However, several details throughout the stay could use improvement. Cleanliness could have been better, with dust and debris under the bed and an unpleasant odor in the refrigerator. Outside, the area felt neglected, with trash scattered in the woods behind the cabin, a muddy walkway to the front door, and random items around the dumpster area.There were also maintenance concerns. The cooktop had a large crack and felt unsafe to use. The hot tub jets were very weak. The shower lacked a shelf, making it inconvenient to store toiletries.The exterior condition also stood out, with portions of the back siding appearing worn and chewed up. The listing showed a privacy screen on the porch, but it was missing, even though nearby cabins had them. With another cabin about 30 feet away, this reduced privacy. The driveway layout leads to a dead end with no clear turnaround. Checkout expectations also felt excessive, requiring guests to separate linens, take out trash, and still asked to tip the cleaning staff.
