Villa “Olive” is a three-storey luxury home and consists of 3 en-suite double bedrooms, large living room with a fireplace, open kitchen and a dining-room. The villa also has a utility room with a washing machine, iron and iron board. The house has verandas and balconies with panoramic views to the Ionian sea, Nidri village, Vlycho Bay and to the islands (Scorpios of Onassis the Famous Magnate Shipping, Meganissi and Ithaca). The villa has 2 private swimming pools (separate for adults and kids), garden and Private Parking. The villa is fully air-conditioned and Self-catering.

The villa is located just five minutes (by car) from the beach. Balcony and veranda for al fresco dining. Ideal for families seeking relaxation.
Other Activities: Folklore Festival taking place every summer in the town of Lefkada. Annual sailing week takes place in Lefkada. There are daily cruses from Nidri to Scorpios Island and to the nearby islands.

A really lovely villa

The view from this villa is incredible and makes the villa a special place. The villa itself is well-kept, very clean and well-stocked. The pool is a fabulous size and was cleaned every day, and there are some really lovely outdoor seating areas too. Nadia and her family were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. A really lovely villa.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed there for two weeks in total and had the best time. Nadia gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around this beautiful house. The view is absolutely breathtaking, you don’t really get used to it cause it’s so gorgeous. The Pool is huge and perfectly cleaned everyday. You can feel that Nadia, Marie and their father are taking care of the whole house and surroundings. Our stay was perfect, we will definitely come back. Thank you so much for being amazing hosts and for our wonderful vacation in Lefkada.

This is a fantastic villa with wonderful facilities and great view and very peaceful

We came to this villa after a busy week sailing around the islands. It was a lovely peaceful haven. Maria and Nadia were very helpful hosts. the property was very clean, with full facilities, the only thing is you DEFINITELY need a car as its a good 30 min walk to the center and its very steep. Apart from that we had no issue the pool was cleaned every day and all the outside of the property was immaculate .We definitely hope to return again and would recommend this lovely holiday Villa to our friends and family

Wonderful stay, everything we hoped for.

Cannot rate this villa and our experience highly enough. From the time of booking, communication with the owner was excellent. We were met at the villa at check in and shown around. It is a wonderfully presented villa in a perfect location with mountains to one side and overlooking Nydri on the other. The pool is fantastic, bigger than expected with lots of different areas within the grounds to enjoy. The villa is well equipped, everything you could need and is kept super clean. Exceptional hosting, thank you Nadia and Marie, nothing too much trouble. We will be coming back!

Wonderful Villa with amazing views. Pool was great.Marie , the host, was brilliant with her communication and kind attention. Clean , fully equipped, comfortable Villa with good quality furniture inside and outside.Air Con was excellent when needed. Different shaded areas around property. Lovely views from terrace.Easy access to different parts of Lefkada.Good restaurants nearby and plenty in Nydri.Geni had lovely restaurants on the waterfront. Kathisma beach was great with sunbeds etc and drinks service. Vasiliki is very picturesque with good restaurants.Very sad to leave , would highly recommend.

Great villa

Beautiful view from the villa and lovely gardens and outside area. Inside is a little dated but perfectly functional, though the 3rd (upstairs) bedroom gets very hot without the Aircon going. WiFi is there but a little unreliable. The walk up is very steep and about 40 mins from the town centre (more like 30 walking down though) we ended up getting taxis back fairly regularly. The owners were incredibly welcoming and attentive during the stay.

Perfect holiday in a beautiful villa

We stayed at Villa Olive in early October. the villa, pool and gardens are beautiful. the setting is peaceful with the most stunning views of Nidri Bay. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The rooms are large and bright, the furnishings and bedding are all good quality and well looked after. The Zikou family have though of everything that you might need and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is possible to walk into the town, but it's a very steep walk back! However, a taxi was only 7 euros. We always take villa holidays and this is certainly one of the best we've stayed in, we certainly will be back! Or thanks to the Zikou family for a great holiday

Tolle Villa in einer tollen Umgebung

Die Villa Olive ist eine von 5 GebĂ€uden oberhalb von Nidri. Jede Villa ist fĂŒr sich einzeln und von den anderen GebĂ€uden nicht einsehbar. Der Blick auf Nidri, die Berge, das Meer und die vorgelagerten Inseln ist einmalig schön. Die Anreise erfolgt ĂŒber eine Nebenstraße und geht steil den Berg hinauf. Ein gelĂ€ndegĂ€ngiges Auto ist von Vorteil. Die Villa ist in einem sehr guten, sehr sauberen Zustand. Es war alles in der Villa vorhanden, inkl. SpĂŒlmittel, Toilettenpapier und MĂŒllbeutel. Der Service ist ebenfalls einmalig, jeden Tag Poolreinigung, MĂŒllleerung, einmal die Woche Handtuchwechsel und wer möchte auch eine wöchentliche Reinigung. Die GebĂ€ude werden von einer sehr freundlichen einheimischen Familie betreut und verwaltet. Die Betreuung erfolgt ĂŒber die beiden sehr freundlichen Töchter Nadia und Marie. Nikos, der Vater schaut gelegentlich auf ein Glas Wein und/oder Grappa vorbei. Neben der Dachterrasse und der Chill-Out-Sitzgruppe am Grill gibt es noch eine Hollywoodschaukel. Alles mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Die Inneneinrichtung ist Geschmackssache. Wir haben uns die meiste Zeit draussen aufgehalten. Betten, SchrĂ€nke, SanitĂ€rrĂ€ume, Waschmaschine alles in einem einwandfreien und sauberen Zustand. Durch die Hanglage oberhalb von Nidri und der Umgehungsstraße herrscht keine absolute Stille, FĂŒr uns war dies aber keineswegs störend. Gelegentlich ein Hundegebell oder ein auf der Umgehungsstraße vorbei fahrendes Auto. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder nach Nidri und, falls das Haus dann frei ist, sehr gerne wieder in die Villa Olive.

Wonderful view with facilities to match

The villa has one of the best views you will find in Perigali and the surrounding areas. It's part of a small complex of properties which are a short drive from Nidri (around 5 mins - a car is essential, in part due to the steep driveway). Nadia and her family take great care to ensure you have everything you need, and when any problems do arise they are responsive and efficient in resolving them. The villa is clean and well maintained, including some nice touches that help to make the stay as smooth as possible - e.g. coffee machine, dishwasher, sun towels provided, air con throughout, insect blinds on the windows, etc. I would happily recommend Villa Olive to others. There is a great restaurant called Kato Rahoula on the way from the Villa into Nidri which is well worth a visit.

Hidden Gem with and Amazing View

We stayed with another couple and had the most amazing time! The views are just breath taking and never get boring. Only 5 mins from the town of nidri, but peaceful and in a secure gated complex. The villa was very well maintained, spacious and cosy. A home from home. Lovely views from the veranda. The pool area is just glorious, a stunning view , sun and shade whatever suits. The pool was cleaned daily and the grounds were maintained daily too. The owners were very welcoming and always on hand to help if needed. Transport is needed though as taxi fare could build up at ÂŁ10 euros each way into town. We hired a quad bike, wouldn't recommend a moped if carrying two people as the hill up to the villa is quite steep. Throughly enjoyed our holiday and have already recommended it to friends. Great value for money, beautiful accommodation. Will have to try one of the other villas next time! 5*

Amazing view & lazy days!

Our family spent two glorious weeks in Villa Olive in July'15, the villa us beautiful with breath taking views over Nydri and nearby islands. The villa is over three floors with three generous double bedrooms, two if which have doors into the garden. The kitchen & living area are well equipped with excellent air con in all rooms which was very welcome in the Greek summer heat. The garden & pool are lovely, though the bees do like to cool down at the edge of the pool but didn't spoil our sunbathing. The owners are very welcoming and always at hand to help & advise. Nydri has many excellent restaurants & boat trips are available from the harbour. A car is a must, steep climb to the villa, but well worth it - Loved our stay & will always remember the amazing view at Villa Olive! Thank you!

Nice relaxing days with very beautiful view!!!

The Amalia Villas are very beautiful located on top of a little mountain with a view all over the valley and the Ionian Sea. The villas are fully equipped with really all the things you need. Each villa has a lovely garden with a long pool where you can enjoy the view. Also the equipment for barbecue is there. The owners are very nice and supported us very well. Near to the villas is a very good restaurant called Grill House (a must for friends of greek food) as well as the waterfall with cristal clear water.

Beautiful Villa, Amazing Views !

We had an excellent time there and we are definitely going back! I would recommend it without hesitation. The amenities were as described (very well maintained), the rooms are very comfortable, the pool and the garden area are superb, and the veranda on the upper level is all you need for a lovely evening at the villa! We had cleaning services whenever we asked for it and the pool was cleaned daily. The owners (Nadia and Marie) are very friendly and helpful with anything you would need. We really enjoyed every second we stayed there!

A perfect holiday

We spent so long on the internet looking at villas before booking this one and for once we were not disappointed as it exceeded our expectations. The road up to the villa is a little challenging for a hire car but it is more than worth it as the peace and tranquility at the location were unbeatable. the villa had everything we needed for a perfect holiday and the pool is wonderful. We could simply have sat for hours gazing at the view down across the plain to the sea and the islands. there are a lot of steps both inside and out so I wouldn't particularly recommend it for toddlers or those with mobility difficulties but for our family it was absolutely ideal.

Magnifique villa de vacances

Villa Olive est une villa magnifique, trĂšs confortable et dans un site splendide. La vue sur Nidri avec les Ăźles est un vĂ©ritable enchantement. Une large piscine Ă  dĂ©bordement ouverte sur un paysage magique, Ă©clairĂ©e le soir et entretenue chaque jour a Ă©tĂ© apprĂ©ciĂ©e par toute la famille ( nage, jeux, dĂ©tente...) Personnellement j'ai adorĂ© le petit coin sous l'olivier, propice Ă  la dĂ©tente et Ă  la lecture mais les nombreuses terrasses offrent toutes une vue de rĂȘve. Marie et Nadia sont adorables et trĂšs serviables. Elles sont prĂ©sentes si vous avez un problĂšme et prodiguent de bons conseils pour les sorties et restaurants..... Pour finir la maison est trĂšs grande, trĂšs propre et bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec de petites attentions dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e (panier avec quelques spĂ©cialitĂ©s). Nous avons adorĂ© ce sĂ©jour dans la villa Olive et espĂ©rons bien revenir un jour. A faire Ă  Nidri : une journĂ©e Ă  bord de l'OdissĂ©a, au dĂ©part du port. Ambiance assurĂ©e...

want to share my experience in this lovely house.I am very glad for choosing villa Olive. Nadia and Marie Zikou were very kind and polite with us. We were 6 people with two children and the house was perfect for our holiday. Villa Olive is very cosy,clean,comfortable and well equipped . Evrything was great and i hope that next summer we will come back there for our holiday again. We had a wonderful time enjoying with an amazing panorama from the villa. I recommend this house for evryone who wants to spend a great holiday in Lefkada:)

Comfortable villa, spectacular location

The villa was very well equipped and clean (the pool man in particular was thorough and there everyday). The views from the infinity pool and from the veranda across the harbour of Nidri to the islands of Madouri, Meganissi and Scorpios are spectacular. You do need a decent car because the approach to the property is via a series of steep, curving inclines which can be a bit tricky! Nadia Zidou (manager and owner's daughter) was very easy to get hold of and responsive (we had a few problems on the first day but everything was sorted out on day two). So, well done Nadia. Nidri itself is not chic but there are plenty of restaurants and bars which are laid back and welcoming. The local people are really nice, especially the guys at Bar Ikaros on the harbour front. Also worth noting is the water sports centre in Nidri (my teenagers loved the crazy sofa and flying fish!) The only disappointment were the bathrooms which I would describe as functional rather than 'luxury' as I was expecting. The shower areas had pull round curtains which made for more of a wet room experience. Ok if you don't mind wet loo roll, but problematical if you do. However, I chilled out about this after a few days and moved the loo roll! Overall, I would happily recommend this villa. There appeared to be a gate between our villa and the one next to it (near the pool area) which would be great for larger groups because access between the two would be easy.

We had a wonderful time in Villa Olive!

We had a wonderful time in Villa Olive. The villa is clean and well-equipped (linen included, even the swimming towels, all windows equipped with mosquito nets, DVD player, Internet access, etc.) and spacious. It is ideally located close to Nidri but in a very quiet place. It offers a breathtaking view over the Ionian Sea and small islands (eg. Skorpios). And the infinity swimming-pool is a must (cleaned every day)! Moreover, the Zikou family is very friendly and helpful, always available when you need something (kitchen ustensils, good local addresses, etc.). We had a very relaxing time in the splendid Lefkada Island and we will surely come back soon!
