Enjoying a wonderful position on a gently sloping hillside directly above the semi-circular bay of Vasiliki, and sandy, family-friendly beach of Ponti, the most gorgeous, sweeping sea views can be savoured from this charming and homely property. Renowned as a centre for water sports, a superb range of activities can be enjoyed in and around this area with wind and kite surfing, kayaking, yachting, scuba diving, boat hire, fishing and boat trips just some of the many pursuits that can all be arranged locally.
Reminiscent of a Swiss chalet, comfortable and unpretentious, the wooden beams, terracotta tiles and exposed floorboards of the interior create a most relaxing atmosphere. Open plan by design, the ground floor has a kitchen/diner to one side, living area on the other and a beautifully appointed shower room in between. Providing a perfect picture frame for that delightful coastal panorama, two sets of French doors open out onto a large, part-shaded balcony-cum-dining terrace, a hugely appealing spot surely destined to be the focal point for memorable holiday meals (and photos).

Upstairs on the first floor you will find a twin bedroom and a separate double bedroom with ensuite shower room; each have individual air conditioning, a vaulted beamed ceiling and attractive polished floorboards.

Just a few steps away to one side of the property, the southerly orientation of the private swimming pool and terrace ensures guests can make the most of the long sunny days.

It is only 1.7km downhill to a selection of tavernas, the starting point for the excellent range of amenities that can be found all along the coastal road as it curves around the bay to Vasiliki old town and harbour. Just 200m further brings you to the sandy beach of Ponti at the western edge of the bay from where you can stroll around the entire shoreline on a mixture of sand, shingle and small pebbles all the way to the harbour itself (approx 1.5km further).

Fourth largest of the pretty Ionian islands, Lefkada remains a largely natural and unspoilt destination, home to several of the most celebrated beaches of the Mediterranean, many of which are regularly awarded the coveted Blue Flag in recognition of their quality. Two of these, Porto Katsiki (12km) and Egremni (13.5km) on the rugged west coast, are picture-postcard pretty and widely considered to be amongst the top ten beaches in all of Europe.
