Belém is one of Lisbon's most historic and picturesque neighbourhoods, celebrated for its rich maritime heritage, remarkable architecture, and beautiful setting along the banks of the Tagus River. Combining centuries of history with vibrant cafés, museums, and riverside promenades, it is one of the city's most rewarding places to explore.
The neighbourhood is home to several of Portugal's most famous landmarks. Art lovers can spend time at the Museu Coleção Berardo, which houses an exceptional collection of modern and contemporary works by internationally acclaimed artists.
No trip to Belém is complete without stopping at the legendary Pastéis de Belém to sample the original Portuguese custard tarts that have made this bakery famous around the world.
Food enthusiasts will also find an excellent selection of restaurants nearby. Enjoy traditional Portuguese flavours and fine wines at Enoteca de Belém, experience contemporary Michelin-starred dining at Feitoria, or savour Italian cuisine with riverside views at Nosolo Italia Belém.
As the sun sets, relax with handcrafted cocktails at the elegant Speakeasy bar or enjoy a drink overlooking the Tagus at Bar 38° 41, a stylish waterfront venue inspired by Lisbon's maritime heritage.
Whether you're exploring historic monuments, discovering world-class museums, dining by the river, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, Belém offers one of Lisbon's most memorable neighbourhood experiences.

In accordance with Portuguese legislation, all guests are required to submit valid identification before arrival so we can complete the mandatory registration process with the local authorities.
A compulsory city tax also applies to eligible stays. This fee is calculated per guest, per night, is not included in your booking total, and must be paid before check-in. Completing both the registration and tax payment in advance allows for a quicker and smoother arrival.
Keys & Property Access
Please return all keys to the designated lockbox when checking out.
A €50 charge applies if lockout assistance is required during your stay or if the keys are not returned correctly at departure.
Lost keys or any situation requiring a locksmith will incur a minimum replacement charge of €80, with additional costs where applicable.
Electricity
Like many historic properties in Lisbon, the apartment has a limited electrical capacity. To help prevent the circuit breaker from tripping, please avoid operating more than two high-powered appliances at the same time, such as hairdryers, heaters, kettles, or similar equipment.
Should a technician be required because of an electrical overload caused during your stay, a €40 call-out fee may apply. We also appreciate guests switching off lights and electrical appliances when leaving the apartment.
Hot Water
Hot water is supplied by a storage water heater with a limited capacity. If the supply runs out after extended use, simply allow the system some time to heat a fresh tank before using it again.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy a fantastic stay in Lisbon.
