A Note About Nature: Palmetto Bugs

Our home is nestled in a beautiful beachside setting, where warm weather, ocean breezes, and lush landscapes are part of the charm — and so is the local wildlife. One of the more common visitors in coastal areas is the palmetto bug (a large outdoor cockroach that thrives in warm, humid climates).

Please rest assured, we maintain professional pest control services and take great care to keep the property spotless. However, due to the region and climate, occasional sightings of palmetto bugs may still occur. They are not a sign of poor hygiene — just a natural part of life near the coast.

Cleaning & Sanitization

Your health, safety, and comfort are our top priorities. Our professional cleaning team follows a comprehensive cleaning protocol after every guest stay to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment.

Pool

Enjoy our indoor pool, open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Our outdoor pool will be open starting April 15, perfect for enjoying the spring and summer sunshine!


Reservation & Security Requirements

This property follows local compliance requirements that include:
• A signed rental agreement
• ID verification
• A $1,000 security hold, which is a pending transaction and not a charge

As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may choose to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver through a trusted third-party provider:
• $49 for stays up to 10 nights
• An additional $3 per day for stays beyond 10 nights
