The space:
Welcome to your London base in the heart of Westminster. This cosy private double room sits within Louise House, a friendly, budgetâfriendly building thatâs ideal for solo travellers or couples who want to be out exploring more than staying in. Youâll have your own private bedroom, plus shared access to a well-equipped kitchen, a relaxed communal lounge, and a private internal courtyard â a little quiet corner thatâs surprisingly rare in central London.
Weâve been happily hosting guests here for over a year through other channels and direct bookings, and are newly listed on Vrbo, which is why you wonât see many reviews just yet â weâre offering attractive launch pricing while we settle into this platform.
The room has a comfortable double bed with fresh linen ready for your arrival, and thereâs free WiFi throughout the building so you can plan your days, work remotely, or stream in the evenings. Step outside and, from some nearby streets, youâll catch glimpses of Londonâs most famous landmarks between the buildings â a constant reminder of just how central you are.
Guest access:
We run things in a simple, selfâserve way to help keep the price down for you. Most guests bring their own travel toiletries, but if you forget something, just let us know and weâll do our best to help. Free laundry (washer and dryer) is available on site â just bring your preferred detergent.
Checkâin is via reception Monday to Friday, 9amâ5pm (excluding bank holidays). If youâre arriving outside these hours, no problem â we offer self checkâin, and weâll share clear instructions with you before your stay. Checkâout is easy self checkâout: simply leave your key in the checkâout box by the entrance/exit, or hand it back to reception if theyâre open.
The neighbourhood:
Youâll be staying in one of Londonâs most iconic neighbourhoods. Many of the cityâs mustâsee sights are just a short walk away:
Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament â around 6â7 minutes on foot
Westminster Abbey â around 6â7 minutes
Buckingham Palace â about 14 minutes
St Jamesâs Park tube â around 6â7 minutes
