Great location in Camden Town with very convenient transportation — only a few minutes’ walk to the Underground station. There are plenty of shops nearby including Whole Foods, Longdan Asian supermarket, and an affordable ALDI with fresh produce. Many restaurants, cafés, and takeaway options are within walking distance, making it very easy for both short and longer stays.
The apartment itself appears to be newly renovated, very bright, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The area is surprisingly quiet at night, so sleeping was very peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and even includes a washer-dryer combo machine. Small thoughtful details like umbrellas stored in the cabinet were appreciated.
Check-in was the only challenging part. Globeapt staff were actually very helpful and responsive once contacted, and communication through WhatsApp was convenient throughout the stay. However, the Hotels.com app seemed to block or hide the host’s contact information/messages before arrival, so I could not receive the instructions for locating the key and entering the building. I eventually found the Globeapt management contact information posted on the wall near the building entrance and borrowed a phone from a nearby café to reach them. After that, everything went smoothly. Future guests should make sure they have a way to contact Globeapt directly before arrival.
One thing to note: although this is listed as a one-bedroom apartment, it only has one king-size bed. It is best suited
