Longboat Key is a quieter gulf-side retreat located between Lido Key and Anna Maria Island along Florida's southwest coast. The barrier island is surrounded by the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay. The island's eastern shoreline is covered in mangroves with hidden canals and marinas. On the western shoreline, you can walk for miles on the white sandy beaches and swim in the gentle gulf.
