Beautiful property and wedding venue. Clean and pleasant. Enjoyed sitting at the bar sampling bourbons we all brought. Spent almost the whole time at home on the really great screened in porch due to the great weather.

This is a diamond in the rough! The home can easily accommodate up to 10 people, excellently decorated with keepsakes from the past and is close to all that Kentucky offers and the best is the quietness of the country. The staff is very helpful if needed. We will be back!

The location is perfect for a bourbon trail stay. It is peaceful and quiet. The interior is very clean. The kitchen well stocked with cooking and dining items. The linens are plentiful and good quality. There are a few maintenance items that need attention. The roof leaks and it rained heavily a couple of times. The bbq is in rough shape. The old baseboard heating system is coming off wall and a hazard. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

Perfect Kentucky Getaway

Stayed for Derby weekend it was an amazing property , you can take walks in the woods. It is in a rural area but also close enough to the highway and was only 30 to 40 min from Louisville also close to Nashville. There were six of us so much room and so much better then being on top of each other in a noisy hotel. The sun room is an amazing place to sit and have breakfast. Jim Bean and a winery is just down the road. Host answered every annoying question before our arrival

We are high school friends all turning 80 years old sometime this year. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for a great place to stay near Bardstown. Thank you from some very pleased 80 year olds!!!

Amazing Place Near Bourbon Trail!

Just an amazing overall stay near the bourbon trail! Place was amazing, spacious enough for our party of 8, had all the amenities needed for prepping meals. Living room and game room areas were spacious and had enough TVs and games for the group. Sleeping areas were perfect, large comfy beds! Just loved the deck area in the back as well! 5-plus stars for comfort, location, and host communications!!!

Amazing Property & Home

For an old restored estate style home, it was very clean and inviting. Takes a minute to get acclimated to the layout because it’s enormous but perfect for privacy. Host was immediate with their responses. My only recommendation would be to update the gas grill for guests who plan to stay in and cook. It was completely rusted inside. Again, not enough of a complaint to lower a five star experience. And honestly, had I mentioned it, the host probably would have delivered a new one!

Fabulous Sprawling Estate/Venue

We were a party of four couples taking a weekend on the Kentucky Bourbon trail. The property was perfect for us. The estate is huge! The grounds are picturesque and well maintained. Bad ass bourbon trip

From the first step into the property we felt like we were staying a a family memebers house. This property is amazing and perfect for a weekend getaway bourbon trip with the guys. All rooms are very seperated and private. The gathering areas like the kitchen , dining room , living rooms, and poot table room are perfect to finish the night and chat about the day. Family Trip to Bardstown

We were in town for a family event
 The property was convenient to all of the people, places and things we were scheduled to do. The house was spacious and well appointed - my grandchildren LOVED the property and we spent a great deal of time outside and on the porch. Sarah was very responsive to requests and made us feel at home! We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

Unique home very convenient

Four couples stayed here while exploring bourbon country. Very convenient for Jim Beam and distilleries in Bardstown area. Host were very responsive when we had a minor issue. Home stocked with coffee, condiments and anything you might need. Rare to find place with 3 king beds.

Perfect place for bourbon and nature lovers

As a group of 4 couples, we look for new places to explore and get away a couple times a year. Luxe was the perfect home base for our Kentucky bourbon trail excursions! First evening was spent by the lake on the separate deck and swings, which provided a beautiful view of the surrounding woods. Bedrooms were well appointed and each couple found one to fit their comfort needs. Bathrooms provided soft linens and were super clean. The second day rained ALL day, but that didn’t matter with the large attached screened in patio that is the whole back length of the house. We cooked an amazing dinner in the very well stocked kitchen and ate as a family on the large patio table. Since that was our second and last night at the Luxe, we stayed up late, playing pool eating pasteries from the local bake shop and of course drinking bourbon/bourbon cream! The owner/contact was easily accessible with a quick phone call as we had some questions upon arrival and these were answered very quickly. We absolutely LOVED our stay and we’re thankful to have new memories that our friend group can talk about for years to come. Thank you!

Bourbon Luxe is very appropriate!

4 couples 8 very close friends. First ever Bourbon tour 4 & 1/2 day stay. We have traveled all over the world and this was at the top of our list not just the Bourbon tours, Bourbon Luxe VRBO made this trip fabulous! Peaceful, accommodating, close and convenient to everything!
