"Villa Pervola" is a maisonette designed as a holiday home with stunning views of Heraklion. It is located in an estate of 5.500m2 full of olive trees, fruit trees and herbs of Crete.

Your stay at "Villa Pervola" will be a unique experience of stay, feeling and enjoyment. Walk among the olive trees, smell the herbs, enjoy your breakfast, prepare your meal in the oven. Due to its geographical location, at night you can see a starry and enchanting sky.

The house
"Villa Pervola" is designed as a country house with a stunning view of the bay and sea of ​​Heraklion. The interior of the building is characterized by the traditional wooden ceiling made by the most famous traditional builder of Crete and its thick stone walls. It allows the house to breathe and give space to the sun and air.

Another feature of the interior is the large windows all handcrafted to let the sunlight in without any difficulty.

As an interior designer I tried to preserve the beautiful traditional elements of the architecture as much as possible and at the same time create a place to relax and connect with nature. In this house you don't leave the earth outside. The house is part of nature and nature is part of the house.

Spending your time in "Pervola" is not just staying in one place. It is a unique experience of breathing and connecting and feeling and enjoying. You will never feel more free in your life. Walk around the olive trees, smell the herbs, read your book on the terrace, prepare your meal in the oven, watch the stars at night in a completely clear sky with no light to disturb you.

"Pervola" is a fully energetic house powered only by solar panels. There is no air conditioning, although you don't need it because the thick walls provide coolness in summer and heat in winter. The windows provide a smooth fresh air that comes form the sea, and the ceiling fan adds a sense of freshness.

The kitchen and the bathroom walls are made with a very special technique. All elements are made of wood by local wood crafters. The oven is also handmade like in the old days and is made of iron. If you decide to use it, you will make the best food.

The house is next to the village of Kavrohori, a small village where you can find a mini market with local products. The sea is only 5 minutes away by car and you have a choice of 2-3 beaches that we can recommend.

Guest access
Visitors have access to all areas and we accept small pets. You can also pick herbs and fruits from our trees.

Other facts you should know
It is important, like living in the countryside because you might meet bees and hedgehogs, and various other small animals when you are on our property. You will also need a car because the property is not connected to public transport. The road is rural.
