The room is in a great location; however, if it’s snowing, it’s hard to get up the hill. This is definitely not a two bedroom. It is an extra space. There is no closet in that room and very little place to put things away. Drawers and cabinets are all filled with the owners, extra blankets, cleaners, supplies. Overall, it feels very disorganized and there is a little place for someone renting to put away groceries or their clothes. there was a hole in the closet, which looks like could’ve been made by rodents and holes in the corners of the extra room which also appears to have been made by rodents. The space was picked up, but there were cobwebs and spider webs above the blinds.

We’re a family of five with three small children and we’ve stayed in a few different condos in Mammoth. Pros: This location is amazing and walking ten minutes to the gondola was awesome. The mountain view was a plus. Very pleasantly surprised to have new pots and pans. Lots of towels, toilet paper and soap provided. Hot tub area was also super fun. Cons: The welcome messages are not polite and are not informative. There was no info about the pellet stove or ski lockers. The second bed is NOT a bedroom but just a bed with makeshift walls with a curtain. The place didn't feel clean, rugs were pretty dirty and the closets and cupboards were really disorganized.

This is not a two bedroom. It’s a one bedroom with a makeshift wall around a second bed. The “second bedroom” has a sheet for a door and one of the walls has a window sill with no glass window in it. The rooms were also dirty with used towels on the floor when we got there. I called the reservation number provided on the confirmation and sent a message through VRBO because we also needed a blanket for the second bed and we never heard back from them. Would not recommend this place or stay there again.

Great Ski Lodge

My wife, teenage son and I stayed for 5 days in April, 2025. Everything was as advertised. Clean and well kept. Easy walk to the village. There was an issue with the pellet stove so I texted the owner. They responded and had someone out there next morning to fix it Couldn’t recommend it higher. Will be my first check for availability next time we go to Mammoth.

Great Place to Stay except for the Moldy bathroom

Location and grounds for this condo are great Carlos the property manager is amazing, very helpful, and kind!! We were very excited to stay at this condo. Everything was perfect until we started to get sick. We noticed there was a strong odor of mold coming from the bathroom. The floor is not sealed properly in the bathroom and visible water damage from the toilet because of the condensation from the tank.We stayed here with another couple friend’s that stayed in the nook “bedroom” our friend was pregnant. I’m so thankful they didn’t stay in the master. We stayed in the master that has a sharing wall in the closet to the bathroom. After staying there for one night I lost my voice so did my husband and we both got nosebleed’s wheezing and a strong cough through out our stay. Everything we kept in the closet of the master reeked of mold and we couldn’t even bring it into our home. When I brought this to the attention of the condo owner I was brushed off and was told “mold that usually doesn’t grow in mammoth.because of the dry climate “ that is hilarious. This is a serious health hazard.

Some issues

The property was clean but not a two bedroom unit. It has one bedroom with a second bed in a converted closet that has three walls and a curtain to provide limited privacy at best. There was a cutout “interior window” in the “second bedroom” with blinds that did not go all the way down, so it lacked privacy as well. The tv in the bedroom had available memory issues that we could not rectify nor get to work. Our main disappointment was with the rental company. The verbiage on the cabin’s rental agreement was not very welcoming. The rental company responded within 15 minutes anytime I had a question. Unfortunately, their answer was to look it up on google or sorry the owner doesn’t provide that. So if you want pool towels you need to bring your own. Pay no attention to the verbiage from the rental company to return the pool towels to the unit. If you have a question about how the pellet stove works, google it. There are no instructions on how to use it. There is an office onsite that offers towels and answer questions, but it is only for properties that rent through them directly. I was also taken back being advised that the unit only provided toilet paper for 2 day usage and we should be prepared to provide our own. Thankfully when we arrived that was not the case and there was no shortage but needless to say I will not be a return guest and will not recommend it to someone else. I have stayed in other properties and have never been left to feel like I was an inconvenience
