"Billy Ocean" is more than just an oceanfront home; it's an experience of the ultimate Keys lifestyle with outdoor living being the centerpiece. In addition to endless ocean views, this direct oceanfront oasis offers both a private pool and a private dock for your boat. There are stunning, uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean, making it the perfect destination for relaxation and adventure in the Florida Keys. The home features a beautifully designed, open-concept living space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living.

This prime oceanfront location provides our guests everything they need to have a fantastic vacation in the Florida Keys. This is truly the one of the best locations in Marathon and it screams location, location, location!!! Imagine lounging at the pool and looking out over the ice blue ocean water with your boat ready to go right at the dock. We love this home and want to share our little slice of paradise with you. Licensed to sleep up to 10 guests, this this home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths (3 full 1 half). The 4 bedrooms have 3 King beds and 1 Queen bed plus and a large sofa in the upstairs living room. The upstairs has two bedrooms with two en-suite baths. The downstairs and two bedrooms with one en-suite bath. There are smart flatscreen TVs in each bedroom and in the upstairs and downstairs living rooms. The internet is super fast with enough capacity to handle all of your devices.

The list of positive attributes for this home are plentiful. Some of the amenities include a heated private pool, 60' waterfront with a 50 foot of dockage, parking for 3 vehicles and 1 boat trailer or 4 vehicles. Additionally, the back yard is completely fenced in for privacy and there is plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. There are direct ocean views and Vaca Cut is a stone's throw away where our boaters can get fuel, bait and tackle to make sure their fishing adventures are awesome!!! And for those who like sand between their toes, Coco Plum Beach and Sombrero Beach are just a few minutes away in each direction.

The back yard is amazing and hard to top!!! There you will find with long a covered area to keep out of sun, 6 adirondack chairs, 4 lounge chairs and an 8 person high top dining table. Our guests can soak up the sun by the pool or sit in the shaded area and enjoy the ocean breeze. Additionally, there is a second floor screened-in balcony that spans the entire width of the house. At night, you can sit by the water, look at the stars and enjoy the peaceful serenity that this property has to offer.

There is a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker utensils and cookware. Linens, bath towels and starter toiletries are provided along with a full-size washer and dryer.

Multiple families and adult guests enjoy ultimate privacy at this home because each floor is separated by an outdoor staircase instead of inside. It's a small amount of separation that really allows our guests to have privacy and unwind when needed. Our guests often tell us how much they enjoyed the separation because they could get comfortable in their private space while still sharing the amenities of this amazing oceanfront property with others in their group.

If you play golf, Sombrero Beach public golf course is only 10 minutes away. The golf facility also has multiple tennis courts and the City of Marathon has a free skate park nearby with basketball, baseball and tennis courts.

And let’s not forget the star of the show which is the ocean and water activities. For our boaters and fishermen, this home is on the Atlantic Ocean and only minutes to the Gulf of Mexico through Vaca Cut. The fishing in Marathon is world class!!! From Mahi and Tuna to Sailfish and Grouper, the fishery is plentiful. You can fish, snorkel and dive within minutes of leaving the dock as the marine life and coral reefs are extraordinary. Manatees, snook, tarpon and even dolphins are often seen at the dock. Fishing off the dock is a ton of fun and the kids can catch fish all day long. It is common for guests to report catching tarpon and many other species of fish from the dock.

Further, there are many great waterfront restaurants in the immediate area along with creature comforts such as Publix, Walgreens, CVS, banks and gas stations. Additionally, this home is within minutes of several local attractions like the Dolphin Research Center, Aquarium Encounters, Turtle Hospital, Pigeon Key, the Seven Mile Bridge and Curry Hammock State Park.

For our adventurers, there are local Snorkel and Sunset cruise charters which take you to amazing nearby coral reefs such as Sombrero Light and Looe Key. Other local rental shops include kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles.

Need Baby Gear? No need to pack bulky baby equipment anymore. Babyquip dot com has you covered for everything you need like cribs, pack-n-plays, strollers, car seats, toys and more. They deliver, set-up and pick-up when you’re done.

Who likes extra charges? Not us!!! The daily rate you pay includes everything. No extra charge for heating the pool, extra persons or administrative fees. And don't forget that we are locals who fish and dive these waters all year round. We love giving advice and tips about fishing and snorkel spots to our guests.

We are part-time locals and long-time vacation rental owners in Marathon with tons of 5 star reviews and repeat guests. This home is our most recent purchase in June 2024 and we have many quality updates have just been completed. Please ask us about our other rental options as we our waterfront houses are all in amazing locations and can accommodate up to 38 guests. Great week in Marathon

My family and friends really enjoyed this house. The view was fantastic. Bring binoculars to watch the boats, birds, and seas from the balcony. The pool was clean and inviting and was definitely a favorite hangout. We managed to catch a few keeper mangrove snapper off the dock for a nice fish fry on our last night. The owner, Jay, was great with communication throught the week.

PARADISE!!!!! That one word best describes our week at Billy Ocean! The home itself was more than accommodating for our 3 couples and our daughter and son in love really enjoyed their own privacy downstairs with all of us in King beds and our own bathrooms. Very roomy, well stocked kitchen and AC efficient up and downstairs. The view upstairs

 SPECTACULAR! I highly recommend Billy Ocean and there is honestly no need to even go anywhere else once there. Thank you Jay and Christa for sharing this paradise on earth with us. We will definitely be back!!! Best vacation ever!!!!

Amazing location. Comfy large space. Perfect for family getaways!

This was the perfect getaway for our large and growing family. The relaxers and the hyper fishermen/women could do what they wanted while still spending time together. Our grandbabies loved the pool and outdoor dinners, cooked by my family of amateur chefs, were made even better by visitations from nurse sharks, a manatee, tarpon and lots of dolphins. The owner was responsive and clearly interested in making sure our stay was all we hoped for.
