The Neighborhood:

Marco Island is a little slice of paradise and this vacation property is perfectly located to enjoy all that our beautiful city has to offer.

You can stock up on all your favorite foods (and plenty of vacation treats) at Publix, which is just a six-minute drive from the house. Don’t want to cook? You’re in luck! You’ll find many restaurants catering to every taste. For a meal to remember, make a reservation at The Oyster Society, or for a relaxed brunch you can’t beat, check out Doreen's Cup of Joe. If you want to grab takeout for a picnic at the beach, swing by The Brooklyn Delicatessen for some of the best deli-style sandwiches in Florida.

Speaking of the beach, Marco Island is home to some of the most idyllic stretches of powdery sand in the state. Tigertail Beach is two white-sand beaches in one — known as the inner and outer beaches. The inner beach offers easy access and plenty of amenities, making it a great choice for families who want to relax in comfort. The outer beach is accessed by wading or paddleboarding through the shallow lagoon and gives adventurous beachgoers a quieter stretch of sand to explore. Marco Golf and Garden’s 18-hole miniature course makes a fun afternoon out for golfers of all skill levels, and bicycle rentals are available throughout the island if you’d like to explore on two wheels. For the chance to spot native Florida wildlife, spend a few hours strolling along the boardwalk at Briggs Nature Center. Keep your eyes peeled for river otters, hawks, and gators among many other interesting species.

For visitors who love spending time on the water, head out to explore the island’s mangroves on a kayak or join a dolphin spotting boat tour to get up close with the ocean’s most playful creatures.
