Welcome to your luxury studio cabin, a thoughtful and well-designed 650 sq. ft. retreat perfect for your ultimate Southern Illinois experience. Our cabin is the newest addition to Dam Near Lake of Egypt Cabins—a cheeky name for a surprisingly delightful getaway!

Step inside to an open, airy living space with vaulted wood ceilings and sunlight pouring through the windows. The cabin features a fully-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a cozy living area with a Smart TV. Just outside, a large covered deck overlooks a serene, fishable, swimmable pond, offering beautiful water views right from your door.

This waterfront property is your private oasis. Spend your days relaxing on the small private beach, paddling on the pond (paddle boards provided), or fishing for bass and bluegill. In the evening, gather around your private fire pit with loved ones—we even provide the firewood.

GUEST ACCESS

You'll have complete and private access to the entire cabin. Enjoy a seamless self-check-in experience using a keypad on the door. Your unique access code will be sent to you automatically via email immediately after you book.
Your access includes the cabin, the private covered deck, the fire pit, and shared access to the pond and beach area.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Our cabin is perfectly situated just one mile from the Lake of Egypt dam, making it an ideal base for exploring the region's best attractions. You are just minutes away from local wineries, scenic hiking trails, and fantastic fishing and boating opportunities.

During the lake season, you may hear the sounds of live music on weekends from the local bait store and marina. It's a pleasant reminder of the vibrant local atmosphere that carries across the fields to the cabins.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Our 5-acre property includes our main home and three guest cabins, which are separated by a privacy fence. All three cabins share access to the 1.5-acre pond.
We provide a starter supply of 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels to get you settled in. We provide bath towels, but please remember to bring your own beach towels for the pond.
You may also be greeted by our friendly Golden Retriever, Kevin, who occasionally wanders over to say hello to guests!

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a wonderful stay for everyone, we ask that you please observe the following rules:
Check-in after 3:00 PM
Check-out before 10:00 AM
Pets: We are dog-friendly! A fee of $50 per dog is required, with a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. Please inform us about your pets prior to arrival. A $150 penalty will be applied if an unreported pet is discovered after your stay.
Guests & Parties: Daytime guests are welcome, but loud, disruptive parties are not permitted.
Grill: Please bring your own charcoal for the grill.
