BOATING:
We are asked a lot if we have a boat dock. We do not have a boat dock. The water in front of our property is very shallow at low tide. It can get to as low as 1 foot. If you do have a boat or want to rent one, be sure to follow the tide charts carefully and be sure you are ok with it resting on the ocean floor if left at low tide. If you are interested in a boat dock, there are properties in Leisure Lee and Treasure Cay that include boat docks.

CAR RENTALS & TAXIS:
You should also start thinking about your transportation, especially if renting a rental car. We recommend SG Car Rentals as they are right at the MHH airport whereas Barefoot car rentals will have to meet you at the airport and take you to their facility to get the car. Barefoot is a little cheaper because of that though. There are other rental car companies, but these are the two we've used and we can recommend.

Don't wait till last minute to book the car. Take care of that now to be sure they have availability.

If you don't plan on exploring, you can take a taxi from the airport to the property and they are readily available. If you take a taxi, be sure to get their number so you can call for a ride back.

HURRICANES:
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, with its peak from mid-August to mid-October. When booking our villa during this period, we strongly recommend purchasing travelers' insurance with trip cancellation coverage and keeping a close eye on weather updates.
An interesting fact: Some of the most stunning and tranquil ocean conditions in The Bahamas occur during the height of hurricane season.

Aqua de Vista is exclusively a short-term vacation rental for up to 6 adults, offering stays from a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 1 month. For stays exceeding two weeks, a mandatory biweekly cleaning service is required, with an additional fee for the cleaning.

The house was well thought out, clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had a wonderful time. We especially enjoyed the natural beauty and spent most of our nearly two weeks here snorkeling and kayaking in front! We saw sea turtles, rays, many fish, lobsters, crabs, sea stars, conch. Highly recommend a stay here. Wonderful place all around!

March 11-16, 2026. Absolutely a rental you won’t want to miss. As you approach the property and as you walk in you can tell the owners have spent lots of time thinking of everything. The house and the property are truly amazing. Very will equipped. We had everything we needed the whole time there. There was nothing but groceries needed to cook meals. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I will return again as well. Even my kids and their significant others are planning a trip to experience this property. The neighbors are friendly. So many turtles. Shells daily along the beaches. Although many in the guest book had mentioned seeing rays we never spotted any. The cabana by the beach was a nice place to hangout during the day for relief from the sun while laying in the hammock and feeling the breezes. We had an incredible stay at Aqua de Vista and couldn’t have picked a better spot for a birthday trip with three adult couples. The elevated 180 views are absolutely stunning. We even spotted sea turtles , and there’s great shelling right out front.The house is well appointed and thoughtfully stocked. Having kayaks, beach gear, and toys readily available made everything easy and convenient. The lower-level bathroom is a big plus for days spent outside or at the water. The new cabana is fantastic and quickly became a favorite hangout spot.We really appreciated the reliability of the solar power and Starlink internet—everything was stable and worked flawlessly. The home felt comfortable, functional, and clearly designed for guests.While the Bimini room is a bit smaller, it’s absolutely doable and didn’t detract from the overall experience. For the quality, amenities, and location, the home is very reasonably priced. It’s also centrally located between Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay, making it easy to explore both areas.We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend Aqua de Vista to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-equipped, and memorable stay in Abaco.

This place was perfect for me and my husband and our 2 teen kids. We use VRBO rentals 2-3 times a year and this was the best provisioned rental ever. The only adjustment was there is no oven but a large toaster oven that was an adjustment. However, it worked great and I even made the best baked potatoes in the Instapot they had plus the charcoal grill was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the showers had good pressure and the washer and dryer were great. The 3 kayaks, one is a two person, allowed us to all go out together and the small islands dotting the coastline and the waterways of Leisure Lee were so much fun to explore. The bathroom on the lower level with all the beach toys was so handy. The beach it sits on is a little rocky but you can walk for a mile in either direction and there are lots of great sandy spots to explore. There is construction next door but there is only ever one or two people there working and we never heard any noise. The few neighbors are super nice but most days we saw more sea turtles than people. The water is so clear we saw tons of healthy coral, sting Ray, dolphins, starfish and conch. The island is definitely remote but they have a great grocery store Maxwells in Marsh Harbor and a quick shop and liquor store just up the road. Aqua de Vista is the best place on the whole island!!!

We stayed at this property in November 2025 and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The owners were prompt and helpful in answering my questions, and the property manager was equally responsive. The home itself is quite new and meticulously maintained, both inside and out. Everything has been designed with care and attention to detail — from the tasteful decor and well-stocked kitchen to the outdoor toys, kayaks, and thoughtful touches throughout. Nothing was overlooked, and the quality really stood out, even down to the linens. The bed was incredibly comfortable.Don’t be put off by the construction next door — it truly wasn’t a factor for us, and the workers were very quiet. We loved the sweeping 180-degree ocean views from the living room and kitchen/dining area, and cozy evenings watching movies on the big-screen TV. The Wi-Fi was excellent as well.My favorite moments were watching the sunrise each morning and taking quiet paddles in the bay right in front of the house and watching for turtles. Abaco is a little off the beaten path which only adds to its charm. It’s a truly memorable place, worth making the effort to get to, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Property manager first rate, available, and courteous.Host listing describing Solar Power house is inaccurate as hosts demanded renters to set uncomfortably warmer temperatures than acceptable so hosts did not have to use a generator to supplemement inadequate solar power installation.Hosts took advantage of renter’s insurance to fraudulently inflate prices for 2 minor (typically considered incidental issues) claiming 150 for replacement of plastic salt & pepper shaker and a tablecloth. Requests for receipts for the costs were refused, but excuses for their “loss” were ridiculously abundant. I am a full time local resident and know very well what the costs are here, and what scam is being perpetrated in their excuses and bloated claims.It took me over 10 days to get a response from hosts who apparently do not want to be held accountable telling me, “We also don't understand why you would deduct anything from your worker's pay. You purchased insurance for the stay. We made the claim through your insurance. We aren't asking anything from you.”I pay my debts but take great exception to fraudulent extortion using my insurance policy to “upgrade” their property. Perhaps an investment in more suitable power storage would be more appropriate.

Beachfront Bliss

Aqua de Vista was everything we wanted in a vacation rental. Spacious and bright, the open floor plan provided beautiful views of the sea in front of the villa. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare meals or snacks. We did a preorder of food and drinks through Sunkiss Provisioning and everything had been delivered and put away when we arrived. Highly recommend this as the nearest grocery is in Marsh Harbour. The bedrooms and baths were large and completed stocked for a week stay. Beach towels and toys were an added bonus. Having a bathroom on the lower level was great so you didn't have to go through the house when coming out of the water or finishing a walk on the beach. The beach pavilion served as a great place for an afternoon nap in the hammock or drink sitting at the bar. The location was perfect for us. We went snorkeling right in front of the villa off Lobster Cay. Lots of fish, lobster and other sea creatures. At low tide we walked to the cay to explore and collect shells. Aqua de Vista was situated well to allow us to visit other parts of the island. A great find was Da Valley restaurant on Little Abaco. A bit of a drive but well worth it for their Conch dinner. Closer to the villa is Coop's. A fairly new place with great food, drink and nightlife. Pete's Pub in Little Harbour is worth the drive south. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and if we are back in the Abacos will definitely book Aqua de Vista.

Peaceful, Beautiful, and Wonderfully Hosted

Our stay at Aqua de Vista was everything we needed - calm, relaxing, and surrounded by natural beauty. The hosts have done a fantastic job creating a space that feels both comfortable and carefully curated. We read some concerns about the construction, but it was unobtrusive and never took away from the tranquility. We're already looking forward to when we can come back!

Simply amazing

I’m a heavy user of vacation rentals and this place made all of the others look like a hostel. The view is amazing and you’ll be able to use their kayak and tons of water toys (and even water shoes!!) to explore the shallow, calm water that occasional has a turtle or a ray in it. There’s everything you could ever need in the house and then some. We just kept walking around all week and saying “wow they thought of [insert super nice and useful thing we didn’t expect]!” The WiFi is super strong and two of us were able to work video calls simultaneously without issue. The location is pretty remote but that’s the appeal. There is a house under construction next door but it isn’t too noisy and the neighbor is very kind and considerate. You’ll definitely need a car if you want to go to dinners and such as nothing’s in walking distance. The property manager was super kind and responsive and we never felt alone. We can’t wait to return - a true gem!

Everything was AMAZING!

THE most well supplied vacation rental. Everything you may possibly need is there for you. Very new vibe! Bed was comfy, towels were fluffy, and looking for shells along the beach was relaxing. Plenty of walking available in the adjacent neighborhood. Everything thing felt very safe. Host even informed us of a SpaceX launch that flew directly overhead...once in a lifetime experience!

Beautiful place would recommend to everyone. They went the extra step to have everything just right so you are comfortable and have everything you need. We had a wonderful experience and wish we could have stayed longer.
