Fabulous view of the beach! Beautiful beach house with huge deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Three bedrooms, two baths, and plenty of room. There is no access from upstairs into downstairs inside. You can fish, walk on the beach, or just sit on the deck and relax. Upstairs has king size bed, kitchen, living area, and bathroom. Downstairs has two separate bedrooms, and bath. Please note, there is no internal stairs connecting the two floors. The house only sleeps six occupants. The house comes complete with pots, pans, dishes, towels, and sheets, everything you need to make yourself at home. There is a full size range and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all kitchen utensils. All you need is food, drinks, suntan lotion and your personal items. You will have a great view of the beach, which is just a short walk away. There are lawn chairs on the upper deck, and on the ground. Enjoy relaxing walks on the beach, which is filled with all types of shells.
Matagorda is known for great fishing, kayaking and bird watching. There are a of wonderful restaurants in town, that are reasonably priced and have huge selections of fresh seafood.
There is a great grocery store in town just 8 miles away, Stanley's General Store. They have food, drinks, gas and a huge assortment of beach items. You can also buy a pass there to drive on the beach.
Once you are on the beach, you can drive over 25 miles on beautiful sand, walk and pick up shells, fish, suntan, or just relax.
