Somers Shack - walk to beach through Koala Reserve

Relaxing 60s beach house with great outdoor living. Ideal for a family holiday. It is located in a very quiet area, near the Koala Reserve and a short walk to the beach.

Our favourite part of the house is the garden and covered outdoor living area, with open fireplace, lounge seating and dining table. This is where we live, eat and entertain for most of the year. There is also an outside shower (with hot water) for cleaning off after the beach and private 2-3 person Finnish sauna. The spring free trampoline and swing set will keep younger kids entertained.

There is a spacious lounge and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for holiday living and more (except a microwave). Coffee lovers will appreciate the coffee machine, although we can also highly recommend the Somers General Store.

The living area is air conditioned and has a Smart TV (Netflix, Apple TV, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime available). Super fast (starlink) internet is available.

The main bedroom is air conditioned and has a queen bed. The second bedroom is also air conditioned with a king single bed and single bed. The third room is a multi-purpose room - it has a queen size wall bed which folds down over a couch, with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. It can be closed off for use as a bedroom or as a second living/play area with double doors that open to the main living area. The main bathroom is newly renovated (with shower, vanity and toilet). A second bathroom/laundry has a washing machine, shower and toilet.

Our house is comfortable and relaxing, a bit retro, partially renovated but not pristine. We also have 6 bantam chickens who will hopefully provide you with some delicious (if small) eggs.
