8 minutes walk to a sandy beach on the Mediterranean sea.

The house is in a peaceful and relaxing location, surrounded by countryside but within easy walking distance of the beach. The house is situated in the beach resort of Contrada Fiori which is quiet and safe but which also hosts restaurants, bars and local shops.

The house is owned by a local family and recently fully refurbished. We have tried to provide our guests with a home away from home, that is comfortable, clean and offers a few nice surprises that will make your stay with us a special one that you will remember forever.

You will not feel cramped here! Even if there are six of you. All the rooms are large, including the bathroom which has bath and shower. There is a bright living area with wonderful views (including from the sofa!) and the reception room doubles as a third bedroom, or exercise/relaxation room (we have catered for both!).

There is a large garden with fruit trees and a vegetable patch and you can pick your seasonal vegetables, fruit and also herbs to cook either outside on the barbeque that is provided or inside in the large, well-equipped kitchen.

The area is a holiday destination mainly for families (it holds a green flag) and those wanting a relaxing beach style holiday (it holds a blue flag too!) in the Mediterranean with some interesting attractions within easy reach. Agrigento, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo and Sciacca are all within approzimately an hour's drive and the livelier beach resort of Porto Palo with more bars and clubs is a short bus ride away. The house is also a ten minute drive to the nearest town of Menfi, the town of wine with two large wineries where you can sample and buy the local award-winning wines. A small convenience store is a five minute walk away.

As well as those seeking a beach holiday, the house is also an ideal place to stay for a tour of the west half of the island of Sicily, even the capital Palermo is only just over an hour's drive away.
