Set in the heart of South Beach on Ocean Drive at the Carlyle Hotel, this beautiful recently renovated luxurious 2 bed 2 bath apartment is your perfect home away from home. You will be living directly in front of the ocean and in the middle of famous restaurants and nightlife (100 yards from Gianni Versace mansion).

Steps away from the beach, you will this spacious and quiet apartment filled with natural light during the day and equipped with blackout curtains to let you sleep soundly thru the night.

Location:

The apartment is located in the world famous Carlyle Hotel in South Beach, Miami, where several historic films like Bird Cage were shot. The apartment is located on the boardwalk steps away from the ocean. Around the apartment are restaurants and great nightlife, and yet the apartment is quiet and peaceful.

The apartment is walking distance from all popular tourist attractions in South Beach. You will not find a better location for your perfect holiday in Miami.


Living Room:

The living room is spacious and equipped with a comfortable leather sofa and two separate arm chairs to relax. You can watch Internet TV or Cable TV on the large 55" Samsung TV or you can gaze out and watch people go by on the busy 12th Street walkway. The stylish expandable dining table seats 6 people and you can have a meal with your friends and family.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove and has brand new utensils to make a delicious meal. There is a microwave, fridge, freezer, blender, coffee maker, hot water kettle, and an extra wide toaster for you to use. We have salt, sugar, coffee powder and creamer readily stocked in the apartment. The island kitchen has a large counter where you can prepare meals. The storage below has all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you would expect in a home. It can be used as a bar counter for setting up drinks too. You have access to a washer and dryer as well as an iron and hairdryer, all in the apartment.

Master Bedroom:

The master bedroom has a large king bed with a very comfortable mattress and bedside nightstands. The room is equipped with blackout curtains for a good nights rest. For entertainment you can watch Internet TV or Cable TV on the large 55" Samsung TV. The attached ensuite bathroom has a large tub with a working Jacuzzi and a separate toilet area with a bidet. There are 2 washbasin sinks and a large LED mirror on the large bathroom counter.

Second Bedroom:

The second bedroom has a large king bed with a very comfortable mattress and bedside nightstands. The room is equipped with blackout curtains for a good night rest. For entertainment you can watch Internet TV or Cable TV on the large 50" TV. There is an attached ensuite bathroom with a full shower, toilet and a large LED mirror.

You have access to a washer and dryer as well as an iron and hairdryer, all in the apartment.

The entire apartment temperature is controlled through an independent air conditioning unit.

You can take the beach chairs and umbrella across to the beautiful beach.

You will access your apartment through a private and secured entrance. The building as 24 hours security and a concierge desk.

You can walk to almost any major tourist attraction in South Beach and are in fact a few steps away from the beautiful beach.

Paid Parking is available at a garage right next to the building.

Nice weekend stay

My family stayed over the weekend and while the weather was cloudy, our accommodations were perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean and location could not be beat. If I had to make 1 suggestion it would be some pillow tops for the bed firm mattresses. However, it would never stop us from making a return visit! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice property however Mandatory Insurance=False Claims

The unit is very nice. Located in the heart of South Beach. However, RENTERS BEWARE. The unit owners require mandatory insurance be purchased by renters. I had no problem with that until after my stay when I received a notice from their insurance company that a claim was filed by the owner for damaged towels and sofa cleaning. My friend and I (two 60 year old women) did everything possible to leave the unit in excellent condition. We never touch the sofa as we retreated to our rooms after long days at the beach and shopping. And certainly, no towels were damaged or in need of “repair”. The insurance company confirmed that they paid the claim (without feedback from me). The owners promised no claim would be filed against me as this was an error. This was put in writing to me through the VRBO app. That turned out to not be true. I have given the insurance company and the owners/property managers every opportunity to rectify this situation to no avail. Thus, this unfortunate 2-star review.

Great place, incredible location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this iconic location! It's a really great apartment in the heart of South Beach. There is a parking garage across the street but we found that it was always full, so parking was several blocks away and pricey. I'm sure this is the case with most properties in the SB area, so if you're flying in, consider skipping the rental car and ordering a ride.

Great place, Not so great host

The property itself if great. Decent size, enough to accommodate 4 people. The location is on Ocean Drive, so very close to the beach and the main area of South Beach. The unit was clean, check-in was okay, there’s a private entrance so that’s a plus. My issue was with the host. My original booking was for 4 nights, they updated the reservation and canceled the first night. When I asked why, the simply said the unit was unavailable. I later saw the unit on VRBO for thousands of $’s for the same night. Mind you I had to make other accommodations which was costly on short notice. Also, my rate was updated as well, I’m assuming to cover any losses. I personally feel if the host cancels a night/updates your reservation, your rate shouldn’t increase to cover their losses. I contacted VRBO customer service who said they couldn’t do anything about it. Sad to say, I will no longer be using VRBO. Book the place for the location, but beware your reservation might be updated along with the cost, with no recourse.

Idyllic Spot

Came with friends for the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The condo has a perfect central location and was just perfect for us. The concierge who handled the check in and out process was friendly and helpful and the cafe below has wonderful food. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. We look forward to renting this place again in the future

Long weekend in Miami Beach

The Carlyle is an iconic building and the apartment was great. Easy parking nearby and so much fun on Ocean Drive. The apartment was well-decorated and very-well stocked, including a pitcher of cold water in the fridge. Thank you - we will definitely try to stay there again!
