Disappointed
We arrived at the property around 5pm. Check in was at 3pm. We entered in the door code provided by the host. We could hear the door unlock with the code but could tell the deadbolt inside was still locked from the inside. After trying multiple times someone came to the door I suppose it was the housekeeper. I told the lady who answered the door we had a reservation but was unable to communicate with her because she only spoke Spanish. After a several minutes of trying to figure out what was going on. She finally called the host who told me we were a day early for check in ( we were not). He finally checked his calendar and seen that we were in fact at the property the correct day. Due to this lack of knowledge from the host the property was not ready for us to check in! Mind you we checked in two hours after the check in time! The host told us to just âwait outsideâ well the cleaner finished cleaning the property. This is after our UBER driver had told us Murillo times that this was a bad area. We were very weary of waiting outside the property with our suitcases because of this! The host did not even apologize for the situation. After waiting outside for about 20 min the cleaner let us inside. We finally got settled in and once we went to use the shower later that evening it was dirty! I showered with my shoes on! Idk if the house keeper tried to rush because of the situation and didnât properly clean because she was rushed but it was gross.Disappointed is an understatement
