This was a great house for a small family weekend! The open floor plan was great and the screened in porch offered more areas to relax. The rooms were great although the bunk room with futon can be a little tight. There was plenty of parking and outdoor space. The area was quiet. It was about a mile walk to Pier 37 for beach access so not the most convenient but still accessible. The host was great and very responsive to any questions we had. We would stay again!

House was well appointed and a great shared space for our ladies weekend. Only gave 4 stars because the beds were not comfortable and it was very dark in there (lighting-wise). But the screened in porch was a beautiful space to sit together and enjoy the outdoors and the floor plan of the home worked great for our group.

Third Coast Visit

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Michigan property! The house itself was really nice and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.Being so close to the beach meant we could easily walk over whenever we wanted to enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Overall, this property hit all the marks for what we were looking for in a lake vacation rental. The combination of a quality house and an ideal location made for a memorable trip.

Cozy cabin by the beach

The neighborhood was wonderful. We’d walk every morning and evening. Neighborhood is surrounded by mature trees, woods, and wildlife. The deer we’d pass would be 5 yards away not bothered by our presence. Short walk to the park with a nice playground and basketball/pickleball courts. Short walk to a gorgeous and more secluded beach, which was amazing especially at sunset.The cabin is spacious and clean and it was nice having our meals in the enclosed patio. There is a zoo, lighthouse, bowling alley, & antique shopping nearby in Michigan City. Twenty minute drive to Harbert with an amazing Swedish (Harbert) bakery that has the best sea salted chocolate chip cookies and quiche. If you drive an hour south to Winamac they have Riverside Rentals to tube, kayak, or canoe down the river (highly recommend). They also have an outdoor paintball facility in Winamac. Of course the cabin is close to the Indiana Sand Dunes National Park, which is spectacular and breath taking to hike. The beach that has the biggest dune is the most beautiful. The property management team was easy to contact and respond and we had a wonderful time and loved our stay.

Great place for a large family

The property manager was great to work with. Very clean, lots of space. A great house for a larger family to stay. They had all the beach supplies you could need, provided. Great proximity to multiple beaches, restaurants, grocery, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home and convenient

Did not expect home to be in a neighborhood and outside could use a bit of sprucing up. Bedrooms a bit crowded but living areas quite spacious. Could use a blow dryer. Saw many deer right in the yard. Overall stay was quite satisfying.

Fun getaway with friends

Great space, comfortable beds, excellent indoor/outdoor seating and comfort. We spent a lot of time sitting around the tables playing games and the lighting was the only challenge. Probably nothing they can do about it but if you need more light, come prepared!

Beautiful and comfy

We very much enjoyed out stay at your beautiful house!! Very comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for friends to reunite! The only issues we had were with the thermostat and the tv remote. Both of which were minor and may have been operator error. Oh, and there were discrepancies between the check out instructions on the fridge and the email sent the day prior to leaving. Thank you and we hope to get to come stay at your home again.

Sibling weekend

My sibs and I (and spouses) get together once a year to reconnect and have some laughs. Really enjoyed this woodsy spot, though there were so many light switches and many of the lights were sterile-white instead of warm and cozy. But really appreciated the cleanliness, and all the windows and amenities. Thanks!

Girl's Weekend

This house provided us with a wonderful weekend. The location was ideal for taking long walks & was conveniently located to a winery & the Botanical Garden. The house was clean & adequately equipped. That being said, it was a bit hodge-podge & not necessarily high end, but everything worked & we had a great time. We took advantage of the ping pong table & darts too!

Beautiful Roomy Cabin in the Woods

The Lincoln Log Lodge was the perfect spot for our little family gathering. The setting is pretty and near to lots of attractions. The house itself was very spacious with lots of room to spread out and relax. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Our favorite room was the beautiful screened in sun porch. We loved sitting out there and listening to the sounds of the woods in the evening or drinking coffee there in the morning. Lots of comfy seating. We also loved the fire pit area. We really enjoyed the house and would definitely stay there again.

Great location for visiting Indiana Dune National Park

This was really a wonderful place to stay. Lots of room. Clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Our only complaint was the water which smelled like chemicals. We Googled the water quality which confirmed levels of a number of chemicals were high. We bought several gallons of water at the local store; once we did that it was not a problem, but you might want alert renters that they will want to bring their own drinking water.
