House Rules & Property Guidelines
All adults staying at the property must read these House Rules and the House Manual prior to arrival.
General Conduct
Absolutely no parties of any kind.
Please remove outdoor footwear upon entering the cottage.
This is a quiet, peaceful communityâbe respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
My neighbours have my contact information and may notify me if there is excessive or late-night noise.
No additional guests without prior approval.
Smoking, Vaping & Substances
No smoking, vaping, or drug use anywhere inside the cottage, on outdoor patios, or on patio furniture.
If you do smoke on the property, please fully extinguish and properly dispose of all cigarette butts.
Throwing cigarette butts on the property will automatically forfeit your damage deposit.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome for a $30 per stay fee.
To remain a pet-friendly retreat, please follow these guidelines:
Pets must stay off all furniture and bedding.
If your pet insists on snuggling up, use blankets or sheets brought from home to cover surfaces.
Pets must always be under your controlâthere are friendly local dogs nearby.
Do not leave pets alone in the cottage for extended periods.
Clean up after your pets both indoors and outdoors.
Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, and tick treatments. Ticks can be common on the South Shoreâplease check your pet after outdoor adventures.
We actively work to reduce ticks on the property, but we cannot guarantee complete prevention.
Garbage, Septic & Cleaning
The cleaners will take care of garbage disposal; we just ask that you sort items properly.
The cottage runs on a septic systemâplease do not flush wipes, plastics, chemicals, or anything other than toilet paper.
Do not use washcloths to remove makeup. Please use disposable makeup pads and place them in the garbage.
Hot Tub Rules
For your safety and to ensure the hot tub remains enjoyable for future guests:
No glass in or around the hot tubâplastic cups and wine glasses are provided.
Do not pour any liquids into the tub.
Swimwear onlyâno shoes.
Please rinse your body and bathing suit before entering; detergents and lotions cause excessive foaming and can damage the tub.
Always close and secure the hot tub cover when not in use. High winds can lift an unsecured cover.
Electric Bike Guidelines
(Highly recommend riding the trail along the train tracksâgorgeous views!)
Use bikes at your own risk.
Helmets are provided and strongly recommended.
After each use, please clean the bikes, plug them in to charge, and lock the shed.
Do not cross or ride along the highway.
Let us know if you experience any issues with the bikes.
