Haus Otis provides you with comfortable traditional Austrian accommodation with all the modern-day amenities.
The apartment offers fantastic views of Lake Millstatt and the Carinthian Mountains.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, both have twin beds which can be used together as a large king size bed or separately as two singles depending on your preferences. Both bedrooms open out onto a balcony with space to sit outside and enjoy the surrounding mountains and lake all year around.
We can accommodate young children. We have a clean, well maintained travel cot and other essentials available free for your use, please let us know before your arrival if it needed.
The bathroom is located upstairs. It includes a large walk-in Rain shower. There is underfloor heating and a heated towel rail so its lovely and toasty in the winter months.
Downstairs is an open planned living area with a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining space. There is an integrated dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, and oven with induction hob. The living area opens directly onto the outside terrace seating area where there is space to enjoy meals together or simply relax. A BBQ is located on the garden terrace which you are welcome to use.
There is a communal entrance hall with space to sit to put shoes on, and a small communal utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and space for additional coats and shoe storage.

We aim to be environmentally conscious at Haus Otis. There is space for bikes, a herb garden on the terrace, insect hotel, and refillable or eco products used where possible. Our own vegetable and fruit garden behind the property we are happy to share any produce with you, and children are welcome to pick anything ready. We compost on site.
There is a 11kw electric car charger at the apartment (charged at 0.25cents kw for 2025/26)
During December for the advent, Christmas and New year season, inside and outside is decorated with Festive lighting and decorations for you to enjoy during the wintery season. And hopefully snow! We have sledges etc you are welcome to borrow, and the nearest ski resort is around 15 mins drive (Goldeck)
We have a friendly cat on site at Haus Otis who lives on our side of the house, but will surely be around outside in the garden to say hello to you at various times. Therefore we do not accept Dogs (or other pets) to stay at the apartment.
The Millstatt card is included for you during your stay, so you have free access to the lake beach areas in summer, as well as some mountain toll roads, and other discounts locally.
