What a place to be all together with enough space to spread out or be in our own retreat space if you want. The floor plan offers a grand open floor plan with 23' ceilings and also offers intimate areas like the living room with grand piano or the lower level family room with cozy real wood fireplace and it's own kitchen. The outdoor space is just as grand with a huge deck overlooking the beautiful Mississippi. The bedrooms are separated by living spaces for your privacy.

Enjoy a classic Minnesota trip and and come stay on the Mississippi River! This 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom riverfront vacation home boasts 5,000 square feet and comfortably sleeps 12. Spend your days renting the private pontoon and browsing the boutique shops before you enjoy all the amenities the house has to offer including a brand new 6 person Hot Tub!

This impressive home was an original farmstead house and the property used to include much of the surrounding area. You and your guests will have plenty of room to spread out over the home's expansive open floor plan and be able to enjoy views of the river from practically every room.

Unwind on the plush sofas in the Great Room and turn on the 82" Smart TV. When you get a little chilly, turn on the gas fireplace and warm up the space. Grab some fresh air on the expansive back deck with ample outdoor seating, views of the river, and a gas grill, or cozy up in the lower level family room with wood fireplace. Add in the private office on the main level, and there is no better place to enjoy a destination work-from-home!

Enjoy cooking delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen which features a 6-burner gas stove, double ovens, a prep sink, stainless steel appliances, custom cherry cabinets, large center island bar, and granite counter tops. Just wow.

Maximum 2 pets at $150 each

Our property is on what is known as the six mile recreational Mississippi River pool and is always flowing. Non stagnant water avoids many issues that area lakes are experiencing such as swimmers itch, algae and weeds. Book your vacation on the river!

The house is large and the view is amazing. The living spaces were spacious. The sofas and leather chairs were very comfortable and the kitchen was relatively well equipped. A couple of opportunities for improvement are: there was no dishwasher soap, there were only 4 teaspoons, none of the bathrooms had bar soap, only one bathroom had hair conditioner, the master bath shower had a lot of mold in it, and the fan in the master bathroom did not work.

Kitchen was awesome had everything you would want. We have been burnt a few times not having anything to work with. Not here all supplied. The entire place was livin ready, bring some food and move in. One huge selling point was the space and the huge deck with out an exit outside. The Grandkids could be on the deck while you relax enjoying the water view. Only way off the deck was back through the house.

Family wedding

In town for our son's wedding. Not being from Minnesota, we had no idea of town names. Manor on the River was an absolute perfect for our stay. Champlin was close to all events and there are stores close by for any items not packed. The house itself is simply stunning. We had 14 people, including 2 little ones, and everyone had plenty if room. The park across the street was an added bonus. Brian, the host, was easy to communicate with and made sure all was in order for our stay. The home is so lovely, I wished we had booked for a few extra days.Truly a dream come true and highly recommend

Amazing Property!!!

My friends and I drove from Chicago to stay at the Mississippi manor and we were not disappointed at all. As a group of music people our favorite part was the stereo system that has crisp and clear sound throughout the first floor. Brian was a wonderful host that provided blankets/soaps/tooth paste/brushes and towels. Any question or concern we had Brian was able to respond promptly. This was supposed to be a one time trip but we are thinking about making the Mississippi manor an annually event. 10/10 overall experience.

Wonderful!

80 degrees & sunny during MEA weekend, and the property equaled the fantastic weather in every respect!  Loved the kayaks, the hot tub, multiple decks/patios, the swinging recliners, the six bedrooms/bathrooms, grand piano, fully equipped kitchen(s)... Our experience was the best of all the rentals since our group of college women began gathering for an annual "retreat" going back as far as 1987. Thank you, Brian, for creating such a great destination.  We'll be back!

Mini Family Reunion

3 families stayed here to attend a Celebration of Life in Minneapolis. There was more than enough space for 11 of us. The kids (and one especially spry uncle) made great use of the loft billiards and ping pong, and we all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and cleanliness was top notch. Our highlight of the stay was a trip on the river with the pontoon boat one gorgeous evening. This is a fantastic and relaxing property with a kind and jovial host. We so appreciate being able to bring our dog along, too. My one issue was with the VRBO platform, which would not accept payments from different credit cards. This was inconvenient, as we wanted to split the charges amongst the 3 families. I hope VRBO will add this feature soon. Thank you, Brian, for sharing your home!
