Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms will make sure all members of your group feel comfortable with enough room for self-care. Full of cozy places to lounge and play separately or together. It's always good to be able to get the needed alone time during a family vacation. No problem here with 3 living rooms and 4 spacious bedrooms, each member of your group will have what they need to enjoy your time together. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like washer and dryer, a well appointed kitchen and loads of things to do in the house like puzzles, books and games. Cozy up for a movie on the 60" TV in the lower level or play on our baby grand-equivalent piano. Our place will help you experience everything the Twin Cities has to offer - you'll be 20 min from everything with access to all major highways within 3 min from the home. The location is seriously prime: tucked into the hills and trees of our beautiful neighborhood within this first-ring suburb of Saint Paul, nearby a beautiful park & pond complete with year round activities. Skating rink in the winter, pickleball in the warm seasons. Enjoy the city without the noise at night! We are close to both downtowns and depending on the terminal, 6 -15 min from the MSP international airport. About 6 min to most of our favorite spots in Saint Paul. Mall of America only 11 mins away as well!
Also, our municipality is home to 2 of the top Golf destinations in the metro - they are under 2 miles away as well as a locally beloved Par 3 accessible course that is maintained and operated by our City. This is a unique opportunity to join in the golfing community because the course is forgiving and set up for golfers of all abilities and ages. Plus, it is a self-supporting enterprise, which means revenues from each round of golf are retained to cover all operating expenses rather than a focus on revenue.
Are you more of a nature and history- loving group? Wonderful! The house is just up from the Mississippi River. Approximately a mile walk will get you to the bridge to Saint Paul. A quick drive down to historic Mendota will tuck you away to sacred lands of the Dakota people along the river. The area is known for endless trails to explore on both sides of the river and on the island named Pike Island on google maps, but known to the Dakota as Bdote which is considered the birthplace of the tribe. Beautiful views any time of year and a serious connection to the earth. Gorgeous soft white sand at the end of the paved trail.
We love giving recommendations for places to visit and tasty places to try so please donât hesitate to reach out for some ideas of places to check out. There's an adorable Italian Deli .9 miles from the house down a hill and a local bar/restaurant as well.
As a large family who loves to travel with our kids and fixes houses for our bread and butter, we know what details make or break a stay - you can expect all the comforts of your own home here and that is worth its weight in gold for the littlest and grown travelers alike.

This is someoneâs home and it is our expectation that guests treat it with care and respect.
We expect all guests to follow our rules entirely and without exception. If any rule is violated the guest will incur a non-negotiable $500 minimum penalty plus any other specific fees for each rule broken.
The soaking tub is out of order and while we would love to have it fixed by your reservation, we cannot guarantee it. A previous guest broke a vintage Kohler part that has been difficult to source.
ALL GUESTS WHO COME TO THE HOME MUST BE ACCOUNTED FOR ON THE RESERVATION - it is in all caps because I've had too much confusion on this - I'm not shouting :) we explicitly do not allow parties at this listing and will assess a penalty of a minimum $300 for cleaning plus $40/per person per night additional beyond 8 guests. We will know, I promise. I clean this house every day and know what it looks like when a party is thrown vs when up to 12 people live at the house and enjoy the amenities. Please understand that we are a NONSMOKING property. This does not only mean indoors, but that you may not smoke on the premises. Period. Youâre welcome to be a smoker and stay at the home. Feel free to cross the street or go for a nice little walk around the block for a smoke break. We DO NOT allow smoking on the PREMISES. Vaping is absolutely the same thing as smoking so if youâre wondering, the same rule applies for any type of smoking. Our kids have asthma and we will know if you smoked in our home or left residue. Just donât do it. If we find ash, cigarette butts or other evidence of smoking on the property you will be assessed a cleaning fee of $300. No exceptions.
PET POLICY: We love dogs and are happy to accommodate guests who bring along their four legged family members, we expect all guests who bring dogs to clean up after their pet both outside and inside. Please bring a dog towel for your pupâs feet coming in from outside. If your dog sheds, please vacuum before leaving. No dogs are allowed on beds. Please bring your pupâs favorite bed from home. If you do allow a dog on the couch, please use one of the blankets provided under them to keep the dander and hair off the couch fibers for the next guests who may be allergic to dogs. If this expectation is not met we do reserve the right to assess an additional cleaning fee to your reservation with a minimum of $200. We do expect that our dog guests will be over 12 months old and be well behaved. Please know, Dogs must remain on leash at all times outside. We hope to remain dog friendly for years to come and the only way to secure that goal is by all guests adhering to the ground rules. Thanks for understanding
