(Note: We are a completely non-smoking home meaning we do not allow any smoking in our home OR on our land, deck, dock, etc.)

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

Great weekend getaway

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. Our family had a qonderful time here. This property was a great and quiet. We enjoyed time on the big deck in back as well as time spent inside playing games. There is plenty to do here.

We had a great stay. Lots of deck with good views of the lake. The location is quiet and peaceful. The only small issue we had was very low water pressure inside the cabin, especially in the kitchen and then some wasps around the deck but nothing some raid wouldn’t take care of. Overall it was a wonderful trip!! I’d recommend this place to any family wanting a lake getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at the lakeside cottage! It was a perfect little place with a wonderful view of the lake. The huge deck was a big plus and many places to sit in the shade and sun. A great spot to fish off the dock and the place had all the things we needed to make our weekend wonderful.

Beautiful and quiet

Loved our stay here. The lake was beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet, the house was cute and perfect for us, though we spent most of our time outside. The check in procedures were simple, Grace communicated very well, and the whole stay was great from start to finish. Thank you, Grace. We will almost certainly be back.

Nice Girls Getaway

Great spirit for a weekend with the girls. Some floating in the lake, enjoying the fire pit, and SO many lake view decks to choose from. Even the pull out couch was pretty comfy (which is a rarity).

Pest/rodents are an issue.

The house and deck are very nice. The house is at the end of a long lane & next to an abandoned property so it feels very secluded. There are a variety of decks to choose from; however, it is A LOT of stairs from cabin to water. Although a lift can be seen in pictures, it is inoperable. Ants are usually unavoidable in lake homes & this cabin is no exception. We could not sit on the living room couch without ants coming up through the cracks between cushions. Mice got into our food multiple times--including items stored inside the oven. There was mouse poop on towels in drawers. We killed ticks in the laundry room bathroom. Millipedes were killed in the other bathroom. Killed several large, black spiders in the larger bedroom. There is a wasp's nest on the east side of the house and we dodged wasps during our entire stay. Raccoons were in the trash daily. Despite bricks on top of lids, we opened a trash can to find a raccoon enjoying lunch one afternoon. The bottoms of the shower curtain liners are discolored, full of mildew and attract gnats. Refrigerator ice maker does not work. Several light bulbs need replaced. If the pest & rodent problems were addressed and the trash situation could be remedied, this property would earn a much higher rating from me.

Beautiful home

My husband and I booked this home for a weekend getaway. We grew up around the area and invited some family members over during the day for boat rides and a mini cookout. The home is exactly as listed in a secluded neighborhood and is stocked with everything you’ll need. It was very quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint was the outside lights wouldn’t work so it was very dark at night. Great communication with the host! We are hoping to make this a yearly summertime trip!

Great property, beautiful area, kind host

Grace is great to talk with: very communicative and answered questions of mine, not just about the property but also about some plans that I was making. The space is a little smaller than it looks, but, let's be real, everybody tries to make their space look bigger online. It ended up being very cozy and housed all of us with lots of room! The decks are easily the best part of this experience. Such a beautiful view and easy lake access for swimming.

Perfect little Lakehouse

This house was so cute. The owner thought of everything, from linens and towels to little extras you may forget. The deck was amazing and takes you diwn to the water. The decor is nice and not dated or overly complex. The place is quiet and peaceful...just what we needed. The owner was responsive and all that was advertised was true. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing Getaway perfect for couples or family!

Grace was AWESOME to work with. So accommodating and helpful in planning activities to do while there. Home very clean and well maintained, deck area and swimming in the lake so peaceful. Enjoyed coffee overlooking lake every morning, and s'mores by fire pit every night. Many upgraded luxuries too, including some thoughtful toiletries and cooking items! Would highly recommend and may go again!
