Great location in Old Montreal

Absolutely fantastic location in Old Montreal, walk to everything and really on the corner of .St.Paul (all walkable/restaraunts/shops) and one block from waterfront 1 block from Place Jacques Cartier. Nice apartment, older but classy, not in perfect shape but decent rental. Be aware the old windows and construction means not soundproof, you hear all the street noise. Literally, conversations from the party-goers on St Paul. Definitely a city vibe, and close to all but can be hard to sleep. Just wish I had remembered ear plugs. Some funky smell in the elevator, but apartment all good. AC worked, lots of light, good stay.

Great location and property

Everything was great. Only thing some might need to know is it a busy area and not quiet. Was fine for our family but might be a concern for some. Parking pass was very nice to have and the location was great for restaurants, galleries, etc. excellent!

Lovely and light filled condo

The condo was lovely. All the windows made for a very bright setting. Unloading and loading luggage wasn’t the easiest. We figured out a plan but felt a bit panicky over it. Communications with the owner were more difficult than I have experienced with other owners. Location of condo is central to everything in Old Montreal. Tons of restaurants in walking distance. Because of location, there can be quite a bit of traffic as well as people noise which didn’t bother us but might bother others.

Clean little apartment close to Old Port of Montreal

Although this property was not what we expected (a pool was originally listed - it has since been removed), it worked okay. There is major road construction right outside of the window, and the workers start at 7AM so do not plan to sleep in while this is going on. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from our parking spot at the Science Center to our building - so consider that as you will need to haul your belongings up a hill. The best part for us was being in Old Port, but in the future we would select a place with a pool that has more convenient parking.

Nice place - BUT CHECK construction information!

This property is super well located, immaculately clean, and exactly as described. EXCEPT there is major construction right outside the window (late April 2024). The street is torn up, not accessible by car, and very loud starting at 8am. It's at a level of inconvenience where the manager should be letting folks know! Otherwise great apartment.

Lovely accommodation but difficult communications

This was a lovely, clean accommodation that was conveniently located in Montreal's old city. However, communications with the property manager were exceedingly difficult. I had to write twice in the days before our travel for check-in information and finally called the proprietor on the telephone the day before our departure. The check-in information that was finally sent was incorrect, leading to us being stranded on the curb late in the evening and necessitating another panicked telephone call. Twice communications with the manager contained an incorrect check-out date for us, leading to stress. I have never given a poor review on VRBO but I don't recommend this property for these reasons.

Great Choice!

The apartment was fantastic and in a great location to take in all that Old Montreal has to offer. We loved being so close to so many great restaurants and attractions. We were able to walk to most places on our itinerary. The parking spot included with the rental also made the visit easier. The info for this rental at the time we booked indicated that the property had an indoor pool available but it does not. Other than that, a great rental choice!

Problem with thermostat

Bathroom floor mat was dirty and in poor condition. There were no instructions on how to operate thermostat. Had a very hard time keeping temp of unit controlled. There were no helpful guides to the area and when we asked the person that checked us in he would just look it up in Google.

The apartment was just as described - very clean, the furniture was in excellent condition, and the beds were very comfortable. It wasn't clear how to handle parking when we arrived but our VRBO message was responded to immediately. There is a card in the apartment that provides unlimited in and out parking a short walk away. The location is amazing within the core of old Montreal but still not too noisy at night. The only drawback was a horrible smell in the building foyer and elevator - I assume this is a temporary situation. All in all, a great spot and I would stay there again.

Cute condo in the BEST location!

From the time I booked this property the communication was outstanding and the condo itself was as listed, but included a pull out sofa with room for 2 which was a pleasant surprise. We realized quickly that this is the absolute best location to stay in Old Montreal. Surrounded by restaurants + bars, it's action packed during the day, but quiet in the morning + at night, ensuring a restful sleep. A 30 second walk gets you to rooftop terrasses, sweet little patios, the waterfront + more. A 15 min walk gets you to Chinatown for more amazing food + drink. The condo itself was clean + comfortable, perfect for a girls' weekend getaway. Literally, the only suggestion we have is to have another mirror in the hallway since it was difficult for 5 of us to get ready using a single mirror in the bathroom. Thank you for hosting us, we hope to return someday!

Gem in the Heart of Old Port

What a fabulous gem in the heart of Old Port. You couldn't ask for a better location The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you need. We did contact the property manager about an iron and they were quick to respond and deliver one to us. The rental process was very straightforward and communication was excellent when we needed questions answered. Would definitely rent this apartment again. It was fabulous.
