Iâm not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, and I always try to focus on the positives, but unfortunately this experience warrants honest feedback.
Our stay was from December 27th to January 3rd, and the on-site restaurant was closed for almost the entire duration. We were told this was due to the holidays, but as a hotelâespecially one that advertises on-site diningâthis was very inconvenient. I specifically booked this property for its location and the restaurant, and not having access to it made our stay more difficult. I couldnât even get a simple cup of tea.
Additionally, the hotel is in need of upgrades and does not reflect the photos shown online. It does not meet the standard of a four-star hotelâperhaps it did in the past, but not currently.
That said, the staff were kind and pleasant, and we made the best of our stay. However, due to these issues, we would not choose to stay here again.
