MK is an AMAZING 5 star host. Great communication, answered questions promptly, and gave us a warm welcome to the house. The house is clean, crisp, with comfy beds, clean contemporary bathrooms with toiletries and lots of fun entertainment options. We needed a house to accommodate adults, children, and dogs. This was just perfect. Clean, quiet, everything provided - and a detailed renters guide with helpful information. The back deck was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Easy access, and great communication with the hosts. They allowed us to add an extra day to our stay at the last minute, when our schedule changed. We would definitely stay here again.

Family New Years Celebration

The house was perfect for our new years family stay. We had one infant and two kids with us (6 and 10) and the house fit us perfectly. The kids had space to run around and play and the house kept them entertained for 36 hours straight. Karaoke was a big hit and the igloo was such a novel and fun experience. The kitchen was relatively well stocked with everything we needed and the owner was extremely responsive. We will definitely try to stay at the house for our celebration next year.

Great home for a quiet, relaxing vacation

Me and my two kids wanted a quiet, relaxing vacation where we could get away for a bit without going too far. The Casino Wine Down House was a great choice and provided just what we needed. It was at the end of a small neighborhood and provided good privacy. It was just a quick drive away if we wanted to go pick up food and any other necessities we needed. The pool is a little small but did the job for what we wanted. The deck outside is very nice as well and the lights provided a great atmosphere. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely recommend. The owner was also very helpful and quick to answer if I had any questions regarding the stay.

Tranquil, creative, 5-star Host

My small family wanted something peaceful, yet nothing boring. This place offered the perfect hide-away. Located in a quiet quaint town where period houses are real dwelling homes, not museums. There’s a real-deal authentic Chinese less than 10 mins away! To top everything, the host provided 5-star welcome and kindness. The early accommodation was a true respite from the long drive. We recommend this place 10/10!

Birthday weekend

My husband and I celebrated our daughters 21st birthday with some friends and family. The home has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Everyone enjoyed the game room and we went to Mohegan Sun on Saturday night which was close by. We all had a great time! MK is a gracious host and available to answer any questions that may arise.

Fun house, perfect for family time!

We enjoyed staying at this house so much! The game room was a blast. All the games worked well and provided hours of family entertainment. We had refreshing cool evenings, so the outdoor fire pit was cozy with plenty of seating. We were so pleased that both the grill and fire pit had plenty of propane. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining table comfortably seats 6. There is also a lovely outdoor dining set on the top deck with a heater for those chilly evenings. The house has a dense covering of trees behind it, so the backyard feels very private. Beds were very comfy and sheets and comforters were soft and clean! MK was so easy to work with and answered us promptly. We would love to rent this house again.

Great Home

We had a wonderful time. Everything was as described and very comfortable. The grill was perfect and enough space for all of us. The game room was cool. The weather wasn't hot enough to enjoy the pool but it looked nice. The wifi worked well and everything was great. I will book again. Great host

Super fun and Dog friendly

Stayed at Mk’s location for a birthday weekend getaway. The instruction and house rules are simple and easy to follow. Pool was a bit smaller than expected but that didn’t hinder the fun. The game room was great and full of all kinds of fun activities. Board games could be in better condition or even updated. Patio could use more lights but seating and fire place were comfy and safe/easy to use. Bed were comfy and rooms were very spacious. Bathrooms clean and included multiple bath towels and showering essentials. Even carried extra feminine products which was amazing! Neighborhood was quiet and location was easy to find. In all we had 7 Adults all over the age of 21 and we had a great time. The karaoke machine had really brought everyone together so that was a large plus. Everyone had a bed to sleep on even extra blankets for movie nights. MK answered our questions quickly and was very accommodating to me and my service dogs. Overall this experience was very fun and felt like home. Thank you for having us.

Very clean, very attentive manager, for the most part exactly as advertised, a couple games could of been in better shape and wish there were deadbolts in exterior doors, but the positives definitely outweighed the few drawbacks.

Wonderful Stay Near Casinos!

Stayed here with a few buddies of mine for his bachelor weekend! The house was spacious, cozy & has a great game room. The location is safe, comfortable & conveniently close to the casinos. This is a great place to stay if you're looking to have some fun in Connecticut!
