Located in the heart of Mount Desert Island just minutes from Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor, this quite studio retreat is the perfect home base for exploring the island.
Perfect for couples, small families or travelers exploring Acadia National Park and the Island of Mount Desert. Our house is on private road in the quiet neighborhood allowing walking, running and biking for miles without crossing a major road.

The studio is attached to our home but has its own entrance and private space for guests.

Location: our property is ideally situated for exploring the island:

20 minutes to Bar Harbor
10 minutes to Southwest Harbor
5 minutes to Acadia National Park (Beech Hill Entrance)
15 minutes to Maine Entrance
You will be close to hiking and biking trails, lakes and beaches, ocean views and rocky coastline while still enjoying a quiet residential setting.

The space: this 2-room studio-style suite comfortably sleeps up to four guests and includes:
King-size bed
Full pull-out futon
Kitchenette with essentials for light meals, microwave oven, toaster-oven combo, coffee maker and tea pot.
Outdoor patio with swing, patio table for 4, and full-size grill
Private shower bathroom

Parking: one designated parking space

Family friendly: Traveling with little ones? Baby items are available upon requests such as stroller, pack-and-play or high chair.

Pet friendly: we welcome well behaved dogs with a pet deposit so your pup can enjoy the island too. Large dog crate is available upon request.

Small children live in the main house
Friendly cats also live on the property

House rules: to ensure comfortable stay for everyone, please review the following:
Check-in after 4 PM, Check-out before 11 AM.
Maximum 4 guests
Quite hours 9 PM-6 AM
No parties, gathering or events
No smoking inside the Studio
Dogs must be house trained, not left an attended unless crated, not be allowed on the furniture and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by dogs.
Please treat the space as you would your own home. Report any issues or damage immediately.
