The Space:

The Tiny Chalet by Tiny Away is a farm stay located in the peaceful suburb of Mundoolun, just 18 minutes from Beaudesert. This tiny house is part of our collection of unique holiday homes, offering a quiet rural escape surrounded by lush landscapes and beautiful views.



Enjoy full privacy, southern-facing bushland scenery, and outdoor activities like hiking and wildlife spotting. Nearby Mount Tamborine, Curtis Falls, and Cedar Creek Falls are only 18 to 23 minutes away, each offering something special—from scenic mountain views to peaceful waterfalls and natural rock pools.



This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is located on our 5-acre property, tucked behind a non-machinery shed. It features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: We have two (2) tiny houses on the property (The Mini Chalet and The Tiny Chalet) giving you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. If you’d like to book both for a group stay, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home and explore the property, but please avoid entering the fenced private yard.



The Neighborhood:

The Tiny Chalet by Tiny Away is a lovely tiny house in the suburbs of Mundoolun, Queensland. The nearest town, Beaudesert, is just 18 minutes away, while Brisbane is about a 58-minute drive, depending on traffic.



If you want to explore, visit Curtis Falls for a peaceful waterfall and a short hike, Mount Tamborine for scenic rainforest walks, and Cedar Creek Falls in Tamborine National Park. For a great meal, try Ned's Steak Restaurant at Beaudesert Golf Club.



Thunderbird Park offers fun outdoor adventures, and Lamington National Park features stunning rainforests, diverse wildlife, and over 160 km of walking trails.



Getting Around:

By car:



- We are 72 km northwest of Gold Coast Airport, approximately a 1-hour drive via the M1 and State Route 90.

- We are also 72 km southwest of Brisbane Airport, about 55 minutes by car via the M1 and National Route 13 (tolls apply).



By public transport:



- The closest train station is Beenleigh, about a 25-minute drive away. Taxis are available in the area. If you find yourself without transport options, we’d be happy to discuss the possibility of pick-up and drop-off arrangements.

- Free Wi-Fi is available with limited strength

- Not suitable for pets

- Free drinking tank water

- Gas BBQ grill is available

- Child-friendly accommodation

- Mobile phone reception has a good signal

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Check-in start's at 2:00PM and Check-out time is 10:00 AM

- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home; only in designated areas

- Firepit is available, and firewood is provided free for the first night upon request

- For extra firewood on longer stays, please contact the host

- We have two dogs who love to say hello and a miniature cow you can feed

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays will incur an additional charge



Guest Advisory



- Please dispose of rubbish daily. Use the green bin for general waste and the yellow bin for recycling. Bins are near the shed by the house yard fence. (Let’s keep the ants outside!) Thanks!



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
