Sweet Mystic Retreat

This beautiful furnished 3,000 sq. ft. home includes everything you will need to enjoy a great vacation in Downtown Mystic, including central air conditioning for summer months. Just bring your toothbrush! We are located within a 10 minute walk to Downtown Mystic and Seaport. This private home also includes a 2 car garage with a Tesla charger for EV vehicles, tv, stereo, bar and Wi-Fi Internet, with a beautifully landscaped back yard with pergola and fire pit.

You will enjoy 3 floors of living space that offers an open floor plan. The first floor has a newly updated and fully equipped granite/stainless steel kitchen which open to a dining & family room area with a queen-size pull out sofa bed, flat screen tv & stereo system. Along with a half bath and laundry room, there is a separate formal sitting room. Please note that there is not a bedroom or full bath on the main level. All bedrooms and full bathrooms require a set of stairs to access.

Porches adorn the front with rocking chairs, and back porch with table and chairs and propane gas grill for barbecuing, and an outdoor gazebo patio area with seating for Al Fresco dining and fire pit!

The 2nd floor consists of a primary bedroom with full bath, plush king size bed and flat screen tv. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor with queen size beds and another full bath.

The lower level walk out consist of another bedroom with a King size bed, large family room with TV, bar, and a newly renovated full bathroom with dual vanities. This can serve as a secondary primary suite.

Very pretty house. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice and cosy to hang out in. Bedrooms and bathrooms all worked well for the 5 of us. We hung out in the seating area in the backyard. The house was very clean and well maintained. Excellent location. Easy walk to downtown area. Short drive to other attractions.

The house is really beautiful- perfect for our group of 2 families of 4 with little kids. It’s spacious and clean with all new bathrooms and a very nice kitchen. We especially enjoyed the backyard with a hammock and pergola- great for unwinding at the end of the day and stargazing at night.

We very much enjoyed our stay in "the Mystic house" as my niece liked to call it. With 5 adults we had plenty of room to spread out. Very clean and had most everything we needed. Loved the front porch and backyard. The location is excellent, walk-able to downtown Mystic, the seaport, etc if you wish to avoid the hassle of finding parking. So many excellent restaurants here too. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Great Mystic rental

I've been getting a VRBO yearly for 17 years. This was one of the best equipped and supplied rentals we've ever stayed at. It was very clean and tidy like a brand-new home. The hosts were easy to communicate with and any info we needed was provided in a binder. It was a great location with many attractions within walking distance. It has plenty of off-street parking and a nice back yard to spend the evening.

Christmas get away

The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions and requests.My family enjoyed our holiday vacation in the house. The location of the house was great.My only complaint is that there was a lot of black (cat?) hair in the living area. We had small crawling children and the hair was a concern.

A great home & location!

We stayed at the house while visiting our son who attends the United States Coast Guard Academy. Our group included a 79-year-old and a 14-year-old and everyone in between. House was perfect! We were able to entertain some of his friends one evening very comfortably. We hope to be back!

The house was very nice. Close enough to walk down town. Plenty of room for our family 3 couples and 2 kids. Only issue was there was a strange smell. Kind of a skunky smell. My husband couldn’t smell it my daughter thought it was a musty smell.

Mystic House

This house is amazing! Everything about it was perfect. It is beautiful & exceptionally maintained. The great room, with the kitchen, dining room & living room all in the same space made being together easy. We were a party of 8 staying at the house and couldn't have been more comfortable. The house was fully stocked with everything from towels, bathroom supplies and kitchen items. It came with 3 different types of coffee makers to satisfy all coffee drinkers! The location was literally an 8 minute, leisurely walk to the heart of Mystic. Mystic itself is a fantastic town with exceptional food & shopping. And the team who manages the property could not have been more responsive. A message to them on the VRBO app was returned within minutes. If we ever make it back to Mystic, which we really hope to do, this is the only place I will stay. Thank you for providing us with a home base for our wedding weekend. We made such special memories at this wonderful house! The Tobins
